Pascal Boulanger re-elected president of the Federation of Real Estate Developers of France

This election confirms FPI France's desire to maintain and strengthen the strategy that it has followed since July 2021:

• Be a driving force within a strong collective respected by the government: created in January 2024, the Housing Alliance must gain momentum;
• Be a responsible actor by taking powerful, immediate measures that do not worsen the state of public finances. In this capacity, Pascal Boulanger will continue to defend emergency measures including one of a fiscal nature which will benefit Bercy and help the sector;
• Be a demanding interlocutor of local public authorities by opposing, in the context of informal or contentious appeals, any measures likely to block the act of building.

The institutional, economic and environmental context and the developments in our society profoundly question the real estate development model. Aware of these developments, FPI France is exploring, with its members and national partners, new production models for the city of tomorrow:

• Urban regeneration;
• Artificial intelligence ;
• New ways of living.

But these necessary reflections must be made in light of the capacity of households to access the housing that we offer them. In this, the real estate developers of the REIT are acutely aware of their societal mission.

For Pascal Boulanger: “My first mandate was marked by chronic instability on the part of public authorities: CNR Housing, decentralization of housing policy, supply shock. All these aborted initiatives do not address the issues and waste our time. The dissolution doesn't help anything. Stability is more essential than ever. Legal and normative stability: the new government must absolutely initiate a regulatory pause. For my part, commitment, responsibility and high standards will always guide my action in the service of defending the profession of real estate developer and the act of building, which is necessary, useful and noble. »
