Ossabois built the 1st family home for the elderly of MonSenior, in Curciat-Dongalon (01)

A strategic partnership in favor of a project of general interest

The MonSenior homes, grouped into hamlets, were born from a deep desire to improve the daily lives of the elderly and/or disabled, both in terms of accommodation and support, by restoring meaning and humanity.

Each hamlet has 3 houses connected by a garden, each with an average surface area of ​​173 m², accommodating three elderly people on the ground floor and a home and his family upstairs. The whole, designed by the architect Alexandre Allemand, is made up of common areas and rooms open to nature with individual shower rooms. The first floor, with an area of ​​76 m², offers a private space open to the living room on the ground floor.

In order to welcome the occupants in safe, warm spaces adapted to everyone's needs with real comfort of use, Ossabois has designed and built these houses in an innovative way, in wood frame and 3D wood modular . The industrialization of construction, moreover in wood, makes it possible to respect commitments in terms of time, costs and quality, and to reduce the carbon footprint.

A labeled project with strong ambitions by 2026

The 1st family hamlet for the elderly of MonSenior in Curciat-Dongalon has obtained the HS2 label, High Health Safety, which assesses the suitability of accommodation in relation to the needs of elderly and/or disabled people, and has been submitted to RE2020.

By 2026, MonSenior aims to deploy its offer throughout the territory with 350 hamlets, i.e. 3.000 accommodation places. About fifty projects are currently being studied in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and a second program is being built by Ossabois in Boz, still in Ain.
