French people who heat themselves with wood will be able to benefit from state aid ranging from 50 to 200 euros, subject to income conditions, which they will be able to request from December 22, announced the Minister of Public Accounts Gabriel Attal in a interview with Le Parisien published on Sunday 27 November.
Parliament definitively adopted on Friday, by a vote of the Senate, a last rectified budget for 2022, with among the other provisions this aid of 230 million euros for households heating with wood.
"The counter will open on December 22", explained Gabriel Attal to Parisian.
"All you have to do is connect to the site chequenergie.gouv.fr and enter their teleregistrant number and invoice. The French will be able to access it, earning up to 2.260 euros for a single person and up to 4.750 euros for a couple with two children. The aid will range from 50 to 200 euros," he said.
A whole series of devices have been planned this year for heating to help households in the face of soaring energy prices.
