*See press release dated February 18, 2022: "Kingspan, the world leader in high performance insulation and building envelope solutions, has entered into exclusive negotiations with Naxicap Partners and others for the acquisition of the Ondura group"
While the building sector is in full energy and ecological transition, this new stage is particularly promising for the development of Ondura, which will benefit from all the support of a leading group.
For Patrick Destang, CEO of Ondura: “The integration of Ondura into Kingspan is excellent news for all of the group's employees. Kingspan is a deeply international group, resolutely turned, with its "Planet Passionate" program, towards an ambition of reducing energy consumption and sustainable development in accordance with the IPCC's 1,5°C scenario. Global warming and economic uncertainties demonstrate the importance of taking advantage of roofs and waterproofing systems that are thermally efficient and energy efficient. Ondura, which has unique positions in this segment, will benefit from all of Kingspan's experience and know-how in this area to offer solutions that are ever more respectful of the planet and its resources. I would like to thank Eric Aveillan and the Naxicap team who have been essential partners in the development of Ondura, who have supported us in our internal and external growth projects, enabling the group to double its turnover between 2018 and 2021, including acquisitions of alwitra and CB. »
For Donald Curtin, Managing Director of Roofing & Waterproofing at Kingspan: “Ondura's management, entire team and premium brands represent significant benefits for Kingspan, complementing our existing capabilities, products and solutions. Eager to continue our expansion in the roofing and waterproofing markets, we look forward to growing together and sharing our expertise. We are excited to welcome the extended Ondura team to the Kingspan family and support the continued success of the business. »
