Onduline® Flexoutuile, an under-roof system that provides total and immediate waterproofing of tiled roofs

Traditionally used in many regions of France, tiles (channel tiles, flat tiles or mechanical tiles) represent 74% of current French roofs*. This type of roofing, the implementation of which must comply with DTU 40.22, is appreciated for its great reliability. In order to guarantee waterproofing for 30 years, it must be associated with a suitable under-roof system.

To prevent leaks and reinforce the protection of tiled roofs against the risks of infiltration (heavy rain, storms, hail, snow) and the lifting of tiles by the wind, the world leader in lightweight roofing solutions ONDULINE has developed FLEXOUTUILE. This ingenious under-roof system, which has obtained a favorable technical opinion from the CSTB, ensures total and lasting waterproofing of roofs.

Light and very flexible, ONDULINE under-roof boards^® FLEXOUTUILE are very easy to install. The range is available in 6 profiles to adapt to the different models of tiles existing on the market and to provide perfect wedging of the tiles even on old frames. This under-roof system ensures the durability of the building, in new construction as well as in renovation, by protecting it from waterproofing defects that can occur over the years due to climatic conditions or following the deterioration of the tiles.

ONDULINE^® FLEXOUTUILE

A simplified installation that adapts perfectly to the existing framework

ONDULINE plates^® FLEXOUTUILE offer durable and completely waterproof protection of the roof against humidity, wind and snow, even when a tile breaks. Very easy to handle, cut and install, these lightweight and flexible under-roof sheets adapt to all types of frames, including old frames that may be slightly deformed.

Different plate profiles are available to be installed on all types of structures: historic buildings, public buildings, agricultural buildings, individual houses and commercial buildings. The buildings are watertight as soon as the plates are installed and this waterproofing is guaranteed for 6 months without tiles. In the event of renovation, FLEXOUTUILE offers the possibility of keeping and reusing the original tiles thanks to the different plate profiles available (tile width ranging from 17 to 23 cm).

ONDULINE under-roof^® FLEXOUTUILE is equipped with a marking system that allows tiles to be positioned easily and quickly, ensuring perfect alignment. In addition, its increased strength and high rigidity allow you to walk on the tiles, for easier and safer installation.

A reliable and environmentally friendly material

ONDULINE under-roof panels^® FLEXOUTUILE contain between 46 and 51% recycled raw materials and their manufacturing process follows a strong and visible environmentally friendly approach. In addition, CO2 emissions are reduced thanks to the reduced weight of the materials which limits the impact during transport.
