Smart Lock from Nuki, an open door to the future

Who has never experienced a return home with full arms, chirping children and the keys not found at the bottom of the bag? With Nuki, this will not happen again! Thanks to the Auto Unlock function, the connected lock detects the approach of the smartphone, and therefore of its owner, then half-opens the door when it arrives in front. Magic, right?

For kids

That's it, the youngest is old enough to go to school on his own, but there remains the problem of the keys, which he risks losing or leaving inside when he leaves. The easiest way is to entrust it with a Nuki Fob which is a small one-button remote control. Just press once and the door opens by itself. And if the kid ever loses the Fob in the schoolyard, just remove access in the app on the smartphone.

At distance

It had to happen, the youngest, whom we were talking about just now, lost his remote control and he realizes it when he arrives at home while you are at the office. Don't panic, you can open the door for him remotely with your smartphone so he can come in. This remote opening is also just as practical for a delivery person or craftsmen.

When I feel like

Sometimes people access the home regularly, for example a cleaning service or a nanny. You may also lend your apartment to friends while you are on vacation. In any case, it is tedious to give and take back each time the keys which authorize permanent access and which risk being lost. With Nuki, it's much easier. You give access to the person's smartphone whenever you want, for example every Monday from 14 to 17 p.m. or the weekend of July 14 only once. Outside these periods, access is not possible!

With a code

If different people regularly access the accommodation, for example for a vacation rental, using the Nuki Keypad makes things much easier. So, just enter a six-digit code to enter. And this code can be generated each time for a limited period of time. If you rent for example from Friday 15 p.m. to Sunday 15 p.m., the code will only be valid during this period, not before and not after. Plus, you'll know when tenants come in and out with the activity log. Even easier if you rent on Airbnb, the management of the Nuki Smart Lock and the Nuki Keypad is fully integrated into the app (more information here). The code will be sent to the tenant by Airbnb at the same time as the confirmation.

The door of the building too

In France, we like access to the building by a code which is not really practical. By an intercom, it's already better but still not very practical. Without going into details and depending on whether it is just access to an apartment or to the whole building, you have to use the Nuki Opener or the Nuki Box which interfaces with the front door. From then on, the same possibilities of opening apply to the door of the building: automatically when arriving at the door, with the smartphone, remotely to deposit a parcel on the step of the door or even by simple pressing on the bell during a determined interval, for example when receiving.
