11 of them adorn a new building complex in the Maurettes district, and the 8 others have been installed to light and secure the Auguste Escoffier cultural centre.
Particularly advanced, the CSR policy of Novéa Energies defends a reasoned use of light, based on a scientific approach, thanks to the development of reliable, sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. All the luminaires of the Angers company also comply with the decree of December 27, 2018 relating to the prevention, reduction and limitation of light pollution.
Uniquely designed solar assemblies, designed as closely as possible to the lighting needs
A town of more than 16 inhabitants, ideally located on the edge of the famous Baie des Anges, between Nice and Antibes, Villeneuve-Loubet is home to a rich biodiversity that has earned it the nickname of "nature heart of the Côte d'Azur". Particularly dynamic, the Maurettes district has been the subject of a major requalification project for the Pôle Marine 000 economic zone to create a true heart of the city with high stakes in terms of sustainable development. This "Coeur des Maurettes" project is part of a preserved green complex, equipped with new public facilities promoting a neat residential quality of the district.
New real estate programs have emerged, with major challenges in terms of sustainable development. The municipality of Villeneuve-Loubet has used Novéa Energies solutions for an application that is increasingly in demand, namely the lighting of part of one of its new real estate complexes: a car park and a pedestrian path.
"Since 2016, the municipality has undertaken major investment work on the entire public lighting system, which is 80% obsolete, in order to better illuminate public spaces, ensuring both the safety of Villeneuvois and energy savings. », says Lionnel LUCA, the Mayor.
11 Combi Top 3 double bracket masts with an original design that harmonizes with the public lighting of the district have been installed. As Novéa Energies is a subsidiary of the Ragni group, the Angers company has the widest range of lighting fixtures on the market and is the only manufacturer able to offer architectural continuity with traditional sets connected to the network. Tominia consoles and Atinia lights from Ragni have been fitted, enhancing the finish of these capri blue solar panels (RAL 5019) which blend perfectly into the existing one.
With regard to securing the Villeneuve-Loubet media library, the city this time favored Chic lights and Atilis consoles on the 8 CT3 masts, all in wine red (RAL 3005) to enhance the superb alley in front of the cultural center and the architecture of the village as a backdrop.
An obvious choice for the Mayor of the city: “In all our projects, the municipality systematically seeks to use innovative techniques. The use of solar lampposts is also a practical and economical solution for lighting up areas without networks”.
Securing users and preserving biodiversity
Integrating the preservation of biodiversity into its overall sustainable development policy, the Angers company offers tailor-made stand-alone public lighting scenarios, which provide the right light, as close as possible to the need. Indeed, for Novéa Energies, the future use of its solar equipment must imperatively be defined beforehand, in order to design a personalized lighting scenario, adapted to the ecosystems in which they are integrated.
Thus, in the Maurettes district, the solar panels operate by presence detection, on standby at 10% all night long with 5 cumulative hours of detection planned, i.e. 400 passages of 45 seconds.
Access to the cultural center is 100% lit for 5 hours after dusk, then the solar panels go into standby at 10% with 1h30 of cumulative detection planned. The facilities therefore meet both the need for user safety, while limiting light pollution and therefore the impact on biodiversity.
