NGE, very committed to professional integration and inclusion, has been collaborating for more than 20 years with local employment players, first and foremost Pôle emploi, to promote the integration, training and hiring of people looking for work, retraining, and young people who have dropped out of school.
It is within this framework that NGE and Pôle emploi Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur concluded an agreement which, in addition to reciprocal commitments aimed at promoting construction trades, job opportunities and meeting recruitment needs, works 2 new actions.
- Since April 2022, NGE has benefited from the expertise of a referent business advisor who is the gateway to Pôle emploi services for the entire NGE group. She also works at NGE's internal CFA school to advise learners in conjunction with the NGE teaching team. It contributes to the sourcing of candidates in the context of pre-learning or operational preparation for employment and ensures the management of offers and the follow-up for local needs.
- An ephemeral business project dedicated to young job seekers and oriented construction. NGE will be directly involved in its implementation and will be able to associate other companies in the sector to optimize the development of the young “associates”. The ephemeral company is an innovative device that allows a group of job seekers to create a company where the skills of each will be used to collectively seek employment.
“We work closely with NGE, we have in particular set up with the CCI of Arles and its BTP group a system dedicated to young people in the Arles region so that they receive training via its CFA. Depending on the trainees' attendance and their appetite for construction trades, a job was offered to them. Several construction companies in the region have joined this system. Here, we go a step further with these experiments. The idea is to optimize all the resources we have in the recruitment department. This close work within NGE itself will bear fruit, I am sure. The results of these actions can be used by the entire construction industry in the region.” Pascal Blain, Regional Director of Pôle Emploi.
“We have such recruitment needs (4000 people/year) that we have to innovate, imagine other ways of collaborating with local employment players. We are thrilled to be the pioneers of this brand new device. We have together, with Pole emploi, defined the missions of the facilitator who works directly with our recruitment and training teams. We gain in efficiency and quality, undeniably. Let's not forget that all this energy is put at the service of job seekers, for whom our respective teams are fully mobilized. » Bruno Pavie, NGE Human Resources Director.
