The new Bosch Professional GMS 120-27 wall detector allows you to drill safely because it easily detects objects lodged in walls, partitions, floors or ceilings. During renovation work, it is the essential tool for fixing fitted kitchen units, shower screens, sinks, water heaters and heating systems, or installing air conditioning systems…

Ultra-simple to use, the GMS 120-27 Professional allows you to easily select the detection mode and mark the precise location where objects have been detected using the marking hole.

Thanks to an intuitive display, the user can locate the center of the detected object by scanning the area to be drilled, the GMS 120-27 Professional indicates the nature of the object.

During each scan, the GMS 120-27 Professional wall detector automatically detects metal and live wires. To additionally detect wood studs in drywall, the user simply presses the Wood button.

The detection results are reliable and easy to interpret. They are indicated by an audible signal, a measurement indicator on the screen and a light ring surrounding the marking hole.

When the device approaches an object, the light ring is red, the signal amplitude in the measurement indicator increases as well as the sound signal.
When over an object, the ring is red, the signal amplitude is maximum, the Object Center indicators light up and a continuous beep sounds.
When no object is in the detection zone, the light ring is green.

The Bosch Professional GMS 120-27 can detect wood up to 30 mm deep, live cables up to 50 mm, ferrous metals up to 100 mm and non-ferrous metals up to 120 mm.

Lightweight and ergonomically designed for a good grip, the GMS 120-27 Professional wall detector has a particularly robust design.

Designed for tough jobsites, it features a shock-absorbing rubber body and is IP54 rated against dust and splashes of water.

A double power supply

For great flexibility, the GMS 120-27 Professional wall detector is a Dual Power tool. It is powered by either 2 AA alkaline batteries or 1 BA 3.7V 1.0Ah Lithium-Ion battery.

Finally, the device has a QR Code on the back that provides support information (FAQ, videos, user manual, etc.).
