New update of the guide to health safety recommendations for the continuity of construction activities

This new version of the guide introduces the measures applicable specifically in areas where a curfew was put in place on October 17 and 22.

Thus, the guide specifies that:

• in areas where curfew measures are applied, in application of the state of health emergency, wearing a mask is permanent in closed and shared environments. This does not apply to construction sites or workshops, where derogation from permanent wear remains possible as long as the ventilation / functional aeration conditions comply with the regulations, and the number of people present in the work area is limited, that these people respect the greatest possible distance between them, including when moving, and wear a visor and that the work activity does not require specific respiratory protection.
• in areas subject to curfews, employers set, within the framework of local social dialogue, a minimum number of teleworking days per week, for positions that allow it. They are also invited to do so in other areas. In addition, a “curfew” travel certificate from the employer is required to travel in the areas concerned between 21 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The Organization also recalls that vulnerable people at risk of severe form presenting particularly serious pathologies, listed in Decree No. 2020-521 of May 5, 2020, have the option, if the attending physician considers it necessary, to be placed in partial activity.

Otherwise, the OPPBTP updates the appendices and practical documents made available to companies:

• The advice sheet "Adaptations and exemptions to wearing a mask in confined spaces";
• The advice sheet "Contact-tracing: identification and declaration of contact cases";
• The advice sheet "Vulnerable employees at serious risk".
