Some regions emerged in 2022

Initially, Valorissimo analyzed the evolution of searches by region. It was in Normandy that the variation was the greatest in 2022: +66,8% between the two semesters. The second region to have experienced a strong increase in searches is the Centre-Val-de-Loire with an increase of +61,7%. In third place on the podium, we find Brittany, with a variation of +17,7%.

The regions historically concentrating the strongest research: Ile-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, remain stable or experience a decrease (-22,8% in PACA).

For Emma Leca, CEO of Valorissimo: “We are seeing the emergence of regions such as Normandy, the Grand Est and even the Centre-Val de Loire. Investors favor these areas in particular for their accessible prices, around 200.000 euros and an interesting potential return. This trend is linked to the current context, with a lower financing capacity than in 2021. We believe that this trend will continue in 2023.”

Uzès is experiencing surprising dynamism in 2022

If we take the most searched cities in 2022, these are Thonon-les-Bains (16.934 searches in 2022), Cergy (10.335 searches) and Bussy-Saint-Georges (10.282).

Valorissimo then looked at the variation in the volume of searches by city between the first and second quarters of 2022, in order to come up with a top 20 (cities with at least 1.000 searches per semester). The city of Uzès tops the rankings, with an increase of +168,8%. Comes in second place Honfleur (+88,9%) and in third place Narbonne (+74,7%). The last three cities in the top 20 remaining the most stable in 2022 are Reims (+3,7%), Strasbourg (+3,4%) and La Roche-sur-Yon (+2,05%).
