New range of Weber tile joints: high in color and performance

Weber deploys 10 references of joints, in powder and ready-to-use paste, to meet each need (floor, wall, work surface), each space (bathroom, living room, terrace, etc.), both new and in renovation, and grouped according to the product benefit: standard joints, intended for basic construction sites (waiting on the price), aesthetic joints, particularly for residential (waiting on the decorative rendering) and technical joints dedicated to the most specialized such as collective kitchens, a swimming pool deck, a facade or a terrace paving (expectation on performance).

Among these, two new products are appearing within aesthetic joints, weberjoint star, versatile, and webercolor evolution, ready to use. In addition, two flagship products benefit from a form adjustment favoring improved implementation, weberjoint large and weberjoint HR. Optimization also concerns the packaging which has also been redesigned to offer even more clarity and visibility for rapid and safe identification.

The result of an in-depth study on current aspirations and trends, in collaboration with the Nacarat Color Design agency, a color expert in the field of industry, architecture and brand identity, the new color panel Weber matches the most demanding interiors and exteriors. Appearing from the floors to the walls, from the bathroom to the kitchen, including the living room or the veranda, the tiling presents a real aesthetic contribution and the joint actively participates in the final result. Indeed, with the Les Harmonieuses collection from Weber, the joint is discreet or even invisible for a most elegant tone-on-tone result or, on the contrary, plays the contrast card to almost become the main element of the decoration!

The new range of Weber seals reveals a varied choice of colors, offering 28 colors to meet all customization needs. A mineral palette offers timeless and easy-to-live atmospheres, with black, gray and white (Granite, Steel, Concrete, Cement, Pearl, Cream, Earthenware, etc.). A range of woods (Elm, Blond Oak, Walnut, Beech, etc.) or warm tones (Terracota, Tomette, Mocha, Silex, etc.) favor cocooning and comforting atmospheres. A variation of green and blue (Sage, Ecume, Fog, Ocean, etc.) naturally finds its place in a zen and soothing interior to contrast with white tiles, making the joint take on the leading decorative role.

Note that Weber provides new tools adapted to more ergonomic and practical use, to inspire and simplify the work of its customers and users. Thus, a new recyclable FSC cardboard box with solid and removable samples facilitates handling and choice of colors.

Weber aesthetic joints welcome two new products, alongside the sure value integral weberjoint (with 3 new colors) which allows you to obtain a joint filled up to the bare surface of the tiles (ideal for floors, in particular heated floors, terraces and rectified tiles).

Thus, available in all the colors of the Les Harmonieuses collection, weberjoint star has been specially designed to accompany the latest trends in tiles (zellige, terrazzo, fish scales, stone, concrete or marble imitations, triangle or hexagon formats, textured, matte or shiny). Versatile, equally at home on the floor or on the wall, indoors and outdoors, new or renovated, it benefits from great ease of application and cleaning. Dust-proof, super water-repellent (ideal for showers), it is particularly resistant to mold and bacteria, reducing efflorescence. It is also suitable for private swimming pools and hammams. Transportable after just two hours, weberjoint star offers shortened construction site times and therefore optimized profitability.

Second new feature, webercolor evolution, an acrylic-based sealant, ready to use, once again saves time on construction sites. Quick and easy to apply, it is reusable, thus generating less waste, in line with Weber's environmental commitment. Its 10 colors prove to be the most stable over time (without shading) and, a packaging tip, a 3 kg bucket equipped with a transparent area, the actual shades of the contents are revealed at the bottom of its container. Its versatility allows the use of a single product because it is suitable for indoor floors and walls.

In terms of technical joints, 5 solutions are dedicated to sites requiring specific technical skills. In a 5 kg bag or 20 kg bucket (containing 4 bags for split use), weberjoint HR has had its formulation readapted to facilitate its implementation with a better result. Suitable for use in swimming pools, hammams, kitchens and collective showers, it displays optimal resistance to cleaning products and high pressure washing. Intended for restrictive supports, subject to deformation (acoustics under tiles, wood, facade), weberjoint flex, extra flexible, also offers high resistance to water and stains. Packaged in 5 and 25 kg bags, it comes in 9 mineral colors (mineral black, white, mocha as well as gray and beige) for a joint width ranging from 3 to 12 mm. As its name suggests, weberjoint paving, in a 25kg bag, is assigned to paving, more precisely exterior paving, including natural stone and travertine. Extra wide (10 to 100 mm), it offers 3 finishes (brushed, smoothed, sponged) thus adapting to all the desired layout effects. With a smooth finish, weberjoint paste, fine joint, ready to use in a 5 kg bucket for walls and worktops, is ideal for renovating existing joints. Finally, weberepox easy has the particularity of being very resistant to chemical attack, heavy traffic and high pressure cleaning, an asset for implementation in laboratories, hospitals, slaughterhouses, or even in the context of swimming pool renovation and for marine use. Thanks to its use as glue and joint, its color stability and its resistance to all maintenance products, it is also the ideal solution for installing mosaics and creating splashbacks and worktops.

As for standard joints, weberjoint fine and weberjoint wide are intended for more basic construction sites. If the first is applied to the wall, for all tiles, glass paste, earthenware or porcelain stoneware, the second is used on the floor, for tiles, terracotta and natural stones.

And to guide them even better, Weber has also revised its packaging charter: now each bag or bucket includes a photo of the product in order to perfectly reflect the destination of the product and the expected effect. This visual is embedded in a graphic line which visually evokes the joint line, thus further identifying the product. Finally, several pictograms summarize the characteristics, just as under the “dot-it” highlighting the name of the solution, its attributions and added values ​​are clearly listed.
