New range of Areum LED lighting from Sylvania Group for offices and tertiary spaces

Available in suspended, wall-mounted and free-standing versions, they offer great flexibility of arrangement and direct/indirect light distribution, for lighting in accordance with the recommendations of the French standard for this type of application.

Aesthetics and performance combined

To meet all lighting needs in tertiary buildings (offices, meeting rooms, corridors, etc.), the new Areum range from the Sylvania brand consists of free-standing, wall-mounted or suspended luminaires.

Combining LED technology with minimalist design, they offer an elegant lighting solution that fits harmoniously into all workspaces. With their thin aluminum profiles with curved edges, Areum suspended (17 mm), Areum wall-mounted (28 mm) as well as Areum free-standing, with its aluminum body and U-shaped steel foot, are coated with a white finish that brings a touch of understated sophistication.

Whatever the version, Areum luminaires feature highly efficient micro-prismatic optics. Ensuring direct/indirect light distribution (70%/30% suspended, 40%/60% wall-mounted, 25%/75% free-standing), they deliver homogeneous (SDCM≤3) and pleasant lighting in all environments. guaranteeing low glare (UGR ≤ 19 for suspended Areum, ≤ 16 wall-mounted and ≤ 14 free-standing). Offered in neutral white (4.000K), they combine all the criteria to help significantly improve the well-being of occupants while reducing visual fatigue.

Efficiency and simplicity of implementation guaranteed

Respectively with dimensions of 1200×300 mm and 600×200 mm, Areum suspended and wall-mounted achieve a luminous efficiency of up to 129-130lm/W. Both equipped with a DIP switch integrated into the driver to adjust the output current, they then offer the possibility of adjusting their luminous flux (maximum 5.150lm suspended, maximum 5.850lm wall-mounted) for each lighting project .

Offered in non-dimmable or DALI versions, they also have the advantage of facilitating their installation on site as well as maintenance thanks to a wiring box with driver mounted on the surface, on the ceiling or on the wall, for easy access. In addition, in order to simplify installation and preserve the aesthetics of the premises, Areum suspended is supplied with suspension cables integrating the power supply.

As for the Areum free-standing model, it is particularly suitable for free installation in places where it is difficult to have ceiling lights, to illuminate single or double workstations. Resting on a 2 meter high mast and equipped with a 675×350 mm head, its efficiency of up to 149lm/W and its maximum luminous flux of 13.700lm make it ideal for large spaces.

Featuring a Touch-dim adjustment button on the mast and also available with a PIR presence/brightness detector, it optimizes energy efficiency and comfort for the user who can then control the light according to their needs by adjusting the up/down dimming.

With its different variations, the new range of Areum LED lighting from Sylvania combines design, versatility and performance to meet the most demanding needs of work spaces. Their lifespan of 55.000 to 100.000 hours (L80B10) depending on the model and their 5-year warranty make them a reliable and long-lasting choice for all those responsible for operating tertiary sites.
