New Polystyecot tunnel box from TBS Pro

As a benchmark player in closure and a long-standing partner in materials trading for nearly 50 years, TBS PRO conducted a study with a panel of professionals to find out their purchasing criteria for this type of product. In addition to the usual, the simplicity of implementation comes in 1st position. Based on this observation, TBS PRO is launching Polystycoffre, a new range of integrated tunnel boxes, combining ease and speed of installation, accessible in all points of sale.

An "all-inclusive" offer

Adapted to the different construction systems (brick, concrete) in new residential and meeting the requirements of RE2020, the new range of TBS PRO tunnel boxes consists of two models from 800 mm to 4500 mm wide:

• Polysty box with a Uc of 0,6 W / m2.K
• Polystyecot T equipped with thermal insulation reinforcement at the level of the jamb which allows it to reach a Uc of 0,4 W / m2.K

Made of high density polystyrene, they benefit from good thermal and sound insulation.

For maximum simplicity in costing and ordering, Polystycoffre has three elements included as standard, depending on the dimensions, which guarantee optimum rigidity of the box and high wind resistance:

• integrated aluminum reinforcements,
• links to the chaining for fixing to the lintel,
• a die-cast aluminum connecting lug for joining the joinery with a solution for adapting to different frame widths.

So many characteristics that allow its installation on all types of racks, including XXL (up to 4500 mm wide and 2800 mm high)! In addition, TBS PRO even offers a technical corner box solution.

Lightweight, quick and easy to install

By design, the new TBS PRO tunnel boxes combine all the advantages to simplify their installation, in no time, on construction sites thanks to:

• their low weight even in large dimensions,
• a soffit with integrated rail cover, requiring no in-depth cutting,
• an adjustable telescopic rail to ensure a perfect seal with the joinery,
• an integrated motorized shutter (available up to 3600 mm wide, and delivered separately beyond),
• a factory paired remote control.

Masons thus gain in productivity without sacrificing the technical qualities of a light and robust product.

Always more aesthetics and comfort

In order to provide CMistes with a differentiating offer adapted to all their projects, the Polystycoffre range is available:

• in 11 color combinations in frame and apron; in white and anthracite gray for the underside with integrated rail cover, all as standard (RAL color optional),
• with 4 exterior facings of your choice (concrete, brick, plaster, fibragglo).

For houses located in areas exposed to saline and humid outdoor environments, TBS PRO offers a "high resistance guaranteed seaside" option.

Thus treated, the apron is available in two colors (white, anthracite gray), two sizes of slats (37, 50 mm) and can be produced up to 3,5 m in width. The slides and the final slat are available in all RAL colors. The assembly then benefits from a 5-year guarantee against corrosion from 0 to 10 km from the seaside and up to 7 years beyond 10 km *.

In terms of comfort, again, TBS PRO leaves nothing to chance. Polystycoffre tunnel safes guarantee:

• superior concealment thanks to the integration in the slide of a co-extruded seal associated with a darkening brush seal on both sides, and a patented black insertion profile,
• a great freedom of choice of maneuvers and compatibility with the home automation solutions of the market thanks to the wired motorization and radio PRO-SOFT. Very reliable (10-year warranty), it has a slow mode for silent operation (radio only),
• safety and longevity reinforced by standard automatic locks in extruded aluminum, coated with felt to prevent scratches on the blades. Derived from the patented TBSPRO AXIS 50 technology, they are specially designed to withstand lifting of 25 kg and act as real break-in retarders.

To provide better summer comfort and optimal management of light, a sunshade option is also available.
