New measures in favor of the exit from fuel oil: will this mode of heating disappear in France?

The government is launching the “fuel cheque” for 1,6 million households: 100 to 200€ which will hardly compensate for the loss of purchasing power that began 2 years ago.

Other measures implemented:

• The extension, for 3 months, of the €1000 bonus on MaPrimeRénov for people who leave fuel oil (and replace their current boiler with a heat pump or a biomass boiler);
• The introduction of a new bonus of €1000, on Energy Savings Certificates this time, reserved for low-income households. It should also be noted that the replacement of condensing boilers, hitherto excluded from this system, is now taken into account.

In other words, it is now up to €10.000 in aid that can be received by individuals who replace their oil-fired boiler with a more virtuous system such as a heat pump or a wood-fired boiler!

With these measures, the State is giving itself the means for an almost complete transition from fuel oil to other, more ecological sources of energy.
