The aim was to reduce energy consumption and promote the well-being of employees. Thanks to its wide range of solutions and personalized support, TRILUX has been able to provide the appropriate response to the site's specifications. The brand has opted for 2 TRILUX references, including Mirona Fit LED, combined with the LiveLink lighting management system. Spotlight on the project.
A complete renovation for the storage site
It is in La Gacilly, historic cradle of Yves Rocher, that TRILUX has completely renovated
lighting for the La Villouët storage site. With a surface area of 33 m000, the building
benefited from aging and energy-consuming lighting. The objective was to have a modern energy-efficient installation, while promoting visual comfort and the well-being of operators.
Offering low power consumption for powerful and high quality lighting,
the Mirona Fit LED industrial frame and the E-Line LED light line were selected
to equip the building. With high energy efficiency, a long service life, a 5-year warranty and manufacture in Europe, TRILUX solutions meet
perfectly in line with the objectives set by the Yves Rocher teams.
“The site was renovated in 3 stages. We wanted to start with one of our storage towers. A space benefiting from natural light, but lacking in light in the main aisle, where staff intervene regularly. Satisfied with the energy savings achieved and the quality of the lighting, we decided to equip a second space the following year, then the entire storage site ”, develops Stéphane Coyac, Technical Distribution Manager of the Yves Rocher Group.
551 Mirona Fit LED fixtures were installed on the site and 216 E-Line LEDs between the
storage racks.
TRILUX, a partner attentive to every requirement
“We have trusted TRILUX for almost 8 years, particularly thanks to the quality of the products and services offered. For this project, we wanted the most suitable lighting for each of our activities, with a certain guarantee in terms of lifespan ”, says Stéphane Coyac.
In order to meet Yves Rocher's request, Mirona Fit LED was the lighting solution
ideal for this storage site. This luminaire facilitates the implementation of important projects
and is suitable for many industrial lighting applications thanks to the great diversity of its versions and many advantages.
In addition, with a lifespan of over 50 hours (L000 at 85 ° C), the Mirona
Fit LED met the longevity criterion set by Yves Rocher. A product that is both extremely durable and reliable, requiring little maintenance.
Switch to LED technology during a renovation
Renovation with TRILUX LED luminaires offers many advantages over conventional lighting installations. In particular, they ensure high visual comfort and high lighting quality for users.
“We are very satisfied with the result. It was easy to fill our first need, which was to have enough light, but we could have had discomfort, glare or the wrong color. However, the level of comfort is perfect ”, adds Stéphane Coyac.
From a sustainable and financial point of view, LED technology makes it possible to achieve many
savings thanks to high energy efficiency, reduced consumption
energy savings and longer maintenance intervals.
“Since the renovation, we have reduced our consumption, linked to lighting, by 53%. The adequate number of luminaires has been installed (no over-lighting or under-lighting), offering an excellent ratio between the level of lighting and consumption ”, explains Stéphane Coyac.
Among the strengths of Mirona Fit LED, we note an excellent energy efficiency of up to 150 lm / W, coupled with a high quality of lighting thanks to luminous fluxes of 13 lm, 000 lm and 26 lm, making it possible to reduce the number of light points in an installation.
This energy efficiency significantly reduces operating costs compared to a conventional lighting solution, resulting in rapid payback of the investment.
“We want to move this low-carbon storage site to be carbon neutral by next year. Switching to LED lighting, thanks to TRILUX, made sense ”, stresses Stéphane Coyac.
LiveLink lighting management, operator well-being and energy savings
By adapting the lighting according to needs, the intelligent lighting management system
TRILUX LiveLink helps further reduce operating costs for lighting and
improve visual comfort.
3 scenarios have been programmed via the LiveLink system in order to adapt to different uses of the space: a light intensity of 200 lux during operator activity; a flow reduced to 100 lux during breaks and finally a minimum lighting level in the evening during cleaning operations.
“Today we have luminaires with technology that delivers results
interesting in terms of energy savings when we reduce the lighting level, which was not possible with our old installations ”, develops Stéphane Coyac.
To go further, the management of automatic lighting is also done according to the input
exterior light, thanks to the integration of daylight sensors.
The first storage tower is also equipped with sensors that trigger the lighting
only in the presence of the teams and when the forklifts enter the aisles (“follower-accompanying” lighting).
“It is on this building that we have gained the most in terms of energy savings. The tower is 15 meters high, which implies strong lighting. Our old lighting was on continuously during working hours, from 5 am to midnight ”, complete Stéphane Coyac.
