New LED Charter of the Syndicat de l'Eclairage: Trilux renews its commitment

By actively engaging alongside other manufacturers who are members of the Syndicate, TRILUX thus marks its desire to offer a transparent and fair framework to the lighting sector: from the industrialist to the end user, including the prescriber , the distributor and the installer.

The new LED Charter is a quality charter for product data in both indoor and outdoor lighting. His vocation? Become the repository as a shared information tool for all representatives of the lighting industry, both manufacturers and distributors (recent FDME membership). It now includes 20 objective criteria to assess the quality and reliability of an LED luminaire.

After having acceded in 1992 to the Convention for the conformity to standards of luminaires, TRILUX has not ceased to work in favor of fair, reliable and responsible competition under the leadership of the CEO of TRILUX France, Lionel Witkowski, who acts in particular as President of the Interior Lighting Commission of the Lighting Syndicate.

“In a world where balances change frequently and with increasing speed, it is necessary to provide the right benchmarks through firm and definitive commitments. More than 25 years after an initiative which had made the adhesion of several professional organizations as for compliance with standard EN60598, the lighting industry and its partners reiterate in order to send a strong signal to the market ", underlines Lionel Witkowski.

With this LED Charter, TRILUX therefore undertakes to provide reliable and sincere information, established in compliance with the most recent standards, verified in an accredited laboratory and essential for the realization of lighting projects.
