New V5025 Z high-speed door from Hörmann: a “Crash” function that streamlines traffic flows

This solution will quickly establish itself due to its multiple advantages combined with the fact that it quickly becomes operational after an impact thanks to automatic re-threading.

With an opening speed of 2,0 m/s and a closing speed of 1,0 m/s, the Hörmann V5025 Z high-speed door is available in a maximum height of 5000 mm and a maximum width of 5000 mm and is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use.

Offering excellent value for money, the V5025 Z is equipped with a "crash" function that allows it to be quickly operational after an impact. Indeed, its curtain is held in place by slide technology with teeth that run in these synthetic slides (maintenance-free) mounted on springs. This allows it, after an impact, to automatically re-thread on both sides over the entire height of the door. No more wasted maintenance time. With an even distribution of wind forces, it has a certified Class 3 wind load resistance (DIN EN 12424).

With a flexible door bottom, equipped with a double loop in black PVC tarpaulin, it is also provided with sand-based ballast. Note that this equipment, in addition to generating energy savings, offers good sealing to the ground as well as perfect adaptability if the ground is uneven. The V5025 Z door can be equipped with a wide transparent strip for visibility (from + or - 900 mm to 1200 mm above the ground) across its entire width, which results in increased flow security. In addition, it is available in 5 RAL colors to choose from (yellow, orange, red, blue and gray) and with a standard rolling drum cover in galvanized steel (optional painting including motor cover).

While the V 5025 Z comes standard with reinforcement strips and a light curtain, it also features narrow side panels and uprights, as well as a small footprint to fit perfectly into the vast majority of installations. Finally, it should be noted that its assembly and transport are quick and easy, thanks in particular to factory pre-assembly, as is its electrical connection using connectors.
