Hybrid resin for sealing concrete bars

To consolidate retaining walls, install posts, reinforce slabs... the use of reinforced concrete will ensure the durability of the structure in the face of different constraints (compression, traction). In order to securely seal the concrete bars, the use of an approved resin is essential.

A good alchemy between concrete and steel

Fischer FIS RC II is a new vinyl ester-based hybrid resin which meets different applications: construction or renovation of retaining walls, posts, beams, slabs, stairs, etc.

Benefiting from a European Technical Assessment (ETA), it makes it possible to seal an attached reinforcement reliably with concrete bars with a diameter of 8 to 32 mm or FRA M12-M20 traction bars, with an anchoring depth of up to 2 m.

For flexible and universal use

Fischer FIS RC II resin ensures rapid work progress because handling and curing times are short.

It is R 180 fire resistant and allows installation at temperatures from -10°C to +40°C.

A guarantee of safety and reliability, FIS RC II resin is also approved for the sealing of added reinforcements for a lifespan of 100 years, and benefits from ETE-22/0502; DoP-0310 for the recovery of concrete bars and ETE-22/0501; DoP-0309 for sealing in cracked concrete.

Compatible with different types of drills and guns to facilitate its implementation

The ETE validates drilling with a suction drill, which saves time on construction sites because assembly is faster, it is not necessary to clean the drilling hole.

The cartridge contains the 2 components (resin and hardener stored separately) which mix and activate in the mixing nozzle. The resin is then injected into the cleaned drill hole. Once the reinforcing bar is inserted, the FIS RC II will attach to the entire surface of the reinforcing bar and to the wall of the borehole to securely seal everything.

For practical use, it is compatible with the classic FIS AM S-XL ande FIS DB S battery gun.

With a power of 18 V, the latter allows serial and effortless sealing of concrete bars.

A progressive speed control ensures optimal adjustment according to working conditions. The low-wear rack drive, with automatic return, prevents untimely extrusion of the resin, for clean work on site.

Finally, for greater comfort of use, its ergonomic handle allows a good grip on the gun.

FIS RC II resin is available in 360 ml and 825 ml cartridges for large projects, and a 300 ml format will be available by the end of the year.
