Equipped with the most powerful engine in the 100 ton excavator category, the DX1000LC-7 also offers unprecedented hydraulic flow for a machine of this size, which translates into unparalleled performance, higher productivity, lower consumption of reduced fuel and smoother controls.
Like all Doosan excavators, this model has received special attention to operator comfort and safety. The DX1000LC-7 receives a very spacious new cabin, equipped with controls and instruments with carefully studied ergonomics. The sound level has been reduced to a minimum by perfecting the insulation of the engine compartment and by using a large quantity of sound-absorbing materials.
All components and assemblies have been designed, manufactured and tested to ensure the longest life in heavy duty applications. Multi-stage filters and other features such as track guides, boom and arm cylinder guards, automatic greasing system, and sealed and greased-for-life track links help achieve superior reliability and maximum longevity. To keep downtime to an absolute minimum, the DX1000LC-7 is also very easy to maintain.
The most powerful Stage V engine in its class
The DX1000LC-7 excavator is powered by the new Stage V version of the well-proven performance Perkins 2806J diesel engine. It develops an impressive power of 469 kW (629 HP), unprecedented for a machine in this category. This engine meets the requirements of Stage V antipollution standards by combining several exhaust treatment technologies: exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), selective catalytic reduction (SCR), catalytic oxidizer (DOC) and particulate filter (DPF). .
The particle filter is automatically regenerated every 25 hours. During regeneration, the excavator continues to work normally. The operator can check the status of the particle filter at any time using an indicator located on the control screen in the cab.
Highest hydraulic flow in the 100 ton class
The power of the engine combined with the VBO (Virtual Bleed Off) hydraulic system (D-ECOPOWER+) to which the machine owes its unparalleled hydraulic flow of 1569 L/min and its working pressure of 360 bar, as well as its controls by electric joysticks (FEH), make the DX1000LC-7 the most capable machine on the 100 ton excavator market.
Doosan's D-ECOPOWER+ FEH technology uses an electronically pressure-regulated pump with a closed-center hydraulic system to optimize productivity and fuel consumption depending on the mode selected. The closed-center main valve minimizes pressure drops while the electronic pressure-regulated pump manages and optimizes the power supplied by the engine.
Software is used to electronically replicate the benefits of an open center hydraulic system with very little energy loss. The hydraulic system and engine power are perfectly optimized and harmonized to further reduce energy losses.
The operator benefits from better feedback at the joysticks, resulting in increased precision and less fatigue. Workgroup movement acceleration and deceleration are smoother, allowing the operator to combine repetitive digging and slewing motions without jerking.
Arrow mode and orientation mode
To optimize operations, the operator can switch between boom mode and slew mode, which prioritize boom movements or slew movements, respectively, to best match the machine to the application. In progress.
The 2-spool regeneration system activated during boom lowering enables higher working speeds while reducing fuel consumption. The 2-spool hydraulic system for the bucket cylinder also increases hydraulic flow and bucket speed while also reducing fuel consumption. Finally, the DX1000LC-7 is fitted as standard with load safety valves on the boom and dipperstick cylinders to prevent accidents linked to the rupture of hydraulic hoses on construction sites.
More comfort and control
Already remarkable for its excellent interior space and ergonomics, the new DX1000LC-7 cab achieves new levels of comfort and ease of use. Along with a new high-quality seat, the cab offers more standard equipment and features than any other machine available on the market, ensuring perfect control of the machine and pinpoint precision in all applications. The main new features of the cabin are as follows:
- New 20 cm (8") color LCD display with touch control displays more information on a 30% larger area
- Stereo system integrated in the control screen (with Bluetooth streaming function)
- Keyless start system
- Improved interior equipment with:
- More efficient air conditioning / defrosting
- Heated seat (2 levels)
- 360o vision cameras (AVM peripheral surveillance system)
- Full set of LED work lights
- Side guards and walkways
- Protection against falling objects (FOPS level 2), mandatory for work in quarries
- Air compressor and pneumatic gun to clean the cabin (optional)
As standard equipment, the complete camera system includes a front camera, two side cameras and a rear camera. Separated from the control screen, the camera display provides all-round visibility around the machine and allows the operator to have a bird's-eye view of the machine and the surrounding area. This equipment is supplemented as standard by a peripheral monitoring system (AVM).
Also included as standard equipment on the DX1000LC-7 are LED work lights providing up to 75% more illumination around the excavator and allowing you to work more productively at the end of the day and at night while reducing the risk of accidents on site.
The new DX1000LC-7 is fitted as standard with the latest generation DoosanCONNECT telematics monitoring system. The DoosanCONNECT system offers an extremely useful telematics management and monitoring solution for monitoring the condition and performance of machines, enhancing their safety and organizing more effective preventive maintenance.
Ease of maintenance
The DX1000LC-7's cooling system provides increased cooling capacity while operating at lower fan speeds and consuming less power. The DX1000LC-7 comes standard with a reversing fan that can be reversed to eject dust from the radiator and oil cooler. This feature reduces the time and effort spent on maintenance operations and makes the DX1000LC-7 ideal for applications in harsh environments.
To complement its class-leading performance, the DX1000LC-7 has also been designed for maximum on-site uptime, thanks to robust, well-proven and high-quality components, such as the Bosch Rexroth main valve and hydraulic pumps, the engine of Doosan Mottrol orientation and Berco high-strength undercarriage.
The DX1000LC-7 receives a new reinforced working group, available in two versions based on either a short boom of 7,20 m or a long boom of 8,40 m. The counterweight has been redesigned and now includes a horizontal fixing system, which is more robust and facilitates the removal and installation of the counterweight.
The DX1000LC-7 comes standard with an electric fuel filler pump (ETP). All the operator has to do is press a switch to initiate tank filling, reducing the time and labor spent on routine service. The DX1000LC-7 walkways have also been widened to 520 mm to allow service technicians to work with greater ease while reducing the risk of accidents.
intensive applications
The DX1000LC-7 is primarily intended for mining and quarrying applications, removing overburden and loading large volumes of material into articulated or rigid dump trucks. The DX1000LC-7 is also perfect for large construction and infrastructure projects, especially when digging, stacking or loading large volumes of material.
With this expansion of its excavator range, Doosan is now able to offer machines from 1 to 100 tons to meet a wide range of needs in the construction, mining, rental, landscaping, waste treatment, recycling and demolition.
