New DIVA RS fire rated sliding door from Portalp

To meet these requirements, Portalp is now supplementing its range of DIVA RS automatic sliding doors with a fireproof version.

A fire resistance of thirty minutes

DIVA RS fireproof is available in a single or double version, with or without fixed leaves, or integrated into a fireproof partition. This new Portalp automatic sliding door consists of:

• an aluminum frame with 78 mm thick profiles with three chambers equipped with thermal spacers. With a contemporary design, it is customizable in all RAL colors to integrate harmoniously into all projects,
• associated with Contraflam®30 glazing with a thickness of 16 mm mounted in the frame using interior and exterior glazing beads. The leaves are equipped on their periphery with intumescent seals which swell under the effect of heat to seal the holes,
• in addition, the partition on which the door is placed receives a covering frame to effectively fight against the spread of flames.

To guarantee reliable and controlled closing in the event of fire, Portalp has equipped the DIVA RS fire door with a Controlled Gravitational Energy (EGC) system installed on the left or on the right for a double door, or on the closing side for a double door. single door.

A counterweight of nine kilos allows, in the event of fire, to mechanically close the leaf or leaves without any electrical power supply. The descent of the counterweight is carried out at controlled speed with permanent monitoring of the connecting cable.

Certified NF “Fire-resistant metal doors” according to the NF277 standard and classified as EI2-30 fire-resistant, the DIVA RS fire-resistant door thus constitutes an effective barrier against flames and smoke for thirty minutes.

The combination of a powerful engine and RS technology for even more safety

Inside its reinforced 193 x 200 mm box, the DIVA RS operator benefits from a combination of innovative technologies that provide great adaptability and increase the level of safety provided:

• a switching power supply (100-230 V) for low consumption,
• a brushless motor associated with a roller track guaranteeing precise and smooth movement of heavy leaves over time to ensure reliable and immediate closing in the event of fire (0,1 to 1,6 m/s depending on the number of leaves) ,
• CAN bus technology facilitating wiring and ensuring permanent communication with all peripherals,
• a backup battery that takes over in the event of a power cut,
• a DAS card (Actuated Safety Device) allowing the connection of the fire detection system and a manual trigger control.

Like all ranges of Portalp automatic doors, the DIVA RS fire-resistant door benefits from a two-year warranty, extended to five years if a maintenance contract is taken out with Portalp.
