Available in 2 sizes, 21 x 145 cm and 20 x 190 cm, two with invisible fixings and one with visible fixings, these new blades are available in two colours, natural and grey.
Produced using a patented process, ACCOYA wood is intrinsically modified to improve its strength, dimensional stability and increase its lifespan. Particularly resistant to insect attacks and wood-eating fungi in humid environments, and requiring no maintenance, ACCOYA boards are suitable for private or public terrace and decking projects, but also for marinas and the edges of individual and collective swimming pools. Finally, 100% recyclable, non-toxic and guaranteed for 25 years, ACCOYA wood is eco-responsible and certified Cradle To Cradle Gold.
A processed wood with exceptional properties
Resulting from a molecular modification process called acetylation, ACCOYA wood is transformed naturally without any addition of chemicals to give it unprecedented performance. This treatment gives the wood not only great dimensional stability by reducing the risks of cracking, shrinking and swelling, but also exceptional resistance to bad weather, UV rays and attacks by wood-eating insects and wood-destroying fungi. Rot-proof and highly resistant to contact with water, it is particularly suitable for creating terraces around a swimming pool.
In addition, ACCOYA blades require no maintenance and eliminate the application of stain, saturator or oil.
During periods of high heat, they do not heat up and remain pleasantly cool, allowing owners to walk barefoot outside without the risk of burning themselves.
Blades suitable for all types of projects
An expert in the secondary transformation of wood since 1995, PROTAC has paid particular attention to the profiles of its ACCOYA blades to offer solutions adapted to market demands and respond to all types of projects.
In fact, they can be installed using visible fixings (screws passing through the top of the slats) but they also allow installation with invisible anchoring systems (clips or hooks). Particularly aesthetic, this second method offers greater ease of installation and does not require complex tools.
In addition, it leaves a thin space between the joist and the blade for better evacuation of stagnant water and thus improves the lifespan of the construction. Available in 2 colors, natural and gray, ACCOYA blades adapt to everyone's desires and combine style, resistance and eco-responsibility.
Accoya blades, highly certified solutions
Made from pine from sustainably managed, fast-growing FSC forests, ACCOYA boards are 100% recyclable and environmentally friendly. Assessed by the Cradle To Cradle program – an international certification aimed at promoting sustainable, reusable, recyclable products that have no impact on human health and the environment – in November 2023, they achieved Gold level in 4 out of 5 categories: material reuse, renewable energy and carbon management, water management and social equity.
As for the last category, health of materials, ACCOYA blades exceed all scores by obtaining the Platinum level. It should be noted that this is the only construction material in the world to hold this certification. This distinction attests to the non-toxicity of the range for individual (patios, terraces, pool decks, etc.) and collective (public decking, marinas, public swimming pools, etc.) outdoor development projects.
Finally, guaranteed for 25 years, they have an extremely reduced carbon footprint throughout their entire life cycle.
