BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA
This return to Paris and this new biennial calendar, in even years, are accompanied by a profound transformation of the event, with a completely redesigned exhibition concept and an enhanced digital offer.
Professionals' wish fulfilled
Thanks to work in collaboration with Viparis, owner of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, the organizers of the Mondial du Bâtiment were able to seize the opportunity to return to the historic site of the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA exhibitions. This return makes it possible to meet the wishes of professionals in the Building, Construction and Architecture sectors for a more convivial event close to the center of Paris and its business tourism offer.
Among the conditions for this return to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, was a modification of the date of the event. The 2021 edition is therefore postponed to the fall of 2022, which should also minimize the risks of successive delays in the event of an extension of the current pandemic, and facilitate the presence of exhibitors and international visitors. The three shows will now be held every two years in October in even years, alternating with ÉQUIPBAIE-MÉTALEXPO, in odd years.
A more efficient and sober event
In 2022, the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA fairs will occupy the spaces from Hall 1 to Hall 6, representing an exhibition area of over 136 m². As this surface area is less than that available at the Parc de Paris Nord Villepinte, this return will therefore be accompanied by a project to develop the offer and the logistics of the event.
Thus, exhibitors will be offered a new exhibition offer, organized around standard modules and limited stand sizes. In addition, a large-scale logistics project will aim to reduce assembly / dismantling times and make flows around the Porte de Versailles more fluid.
This overhaul of the offer and event logistics will bring multiple benefits to exhibitors: choice of location upon registration, significant increase in return on investment (ROI) by reducing exhibition costs and moving to 4 days for all shows.
The other issue is that of the event itself, which will become more sober and be part of a CSR approach, as part of the roadmap that Reed Expositions France has set for itself. The Mondial du Bâtiment will be the first major trade fair in the sector to implement a wide-ranging policy and actions to reduce its impact: waste reduction and recovery, responsible purchasing policy, eco-design, responsible catering, etc.
A disruptive digital offer "365 days / 365 days"
To develop the visibility of exhibitors between two editions of the Mondial du Bâtiment and allow them to prepare a friendly and qualitative meeting during the 4 days of the physical fair, the organizers of BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA have also designed a new range of digital tools. Its ambition is to increase the number of contacts and the notoriety of the exhibitors' brands over an extended period: networking and visibility, the core business of exhibitions, are now extended between two editions thanks to digital.
Available from the signing of participation in the physical fair, this offer breaks with the practices of the profession is based on a mix of digital solutions: multiform content available on blogs - white papers, articles, new products ... - tables rounds in live and in replay, shows and podcasts on Batiradio, interactive moments with webinars and online conversations.
Much more than a simple comeback at the Porte de Versailles, it is the federation of the largest number of building stakeholders that the reinvention of the event and its digital device promise us. See you in early 2021 for the detailed roadmap!
For Guillaume Loizeaud, Director of BATIMAT: “What a pleasure and what a great prospect to be able to write this new story with the industry! The return of BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA to Paris in 2022 promises to be a great moment of conviviality for all professionals. Completely redesigned on the exhibition format, in line with the major challenges, increased over time thanks to digital, the Mondial du Bâtiment will bring together the best of the fair and the virtual. "
For Yves Danielou, President of Afisb: “The Afisb, its members and all those involved in the bathroom can only be enthusiastic about the idea of the future Mondial du Bâtiment. The conditions are there to make it a real success. We all feel the need for moments of conviviality in our work and our professional relations and Paris expo Porte de Versailles, largely renovated, now offers them to visitors and exhibitors. Re-enchanting this major building event supposes a real work of renewal that the new calendar will allow to carry out. At the request of many exhibitors, we will thus improve the commercial offer, to achieve a better cost / contact. "
For François Frisquet, President of Uniclima: “Our Profession is delighted with this new dimension that the next edition of INTERCLIMA will take in 2022 with a return to the heart of Paris, in collaboration with our partners at the World Cup: BATIMAT and IDÉOBAIN. We therefore invite all those involved in comfort and energy efficiency to discover the growing dynamism of our sector. "
TEAM-MÉTALEXPO

It will also make it the 1st trade fair for recovery for the carpentry sector.
New dates and stronger ambition

A digital platform upstream of the show
The show's organizers are creating ÉQUIPBAIE-MÉTALEXPO DIGITAL, an information and discussion platform launched in November 2020. Accessible continuously, punctuated by monthly meetings, its objective is to build loyalty and attract the community of carpenters and metalworkers to meet at the ÉQUIPBAIE-MÉTALEXPO show in September 2021. It offers professionals, in preview and digitally, to discover product demonstration videos, expert videos, new products and services, and webinars offered by the exhibitors of the show, of which around thirty are already involved in this new tool. Another digital initiative, the exhibitors of the show are also present in the brand new directory of suppliers of the Blog, which completes the website of the show.
Guillaume Loizeaud comments on this choice: “We would like to thank the ÉQUIPBAIEMÉTALEXPO exhibitors who showed their confidence in us by following us during this period of reflection. The start of the September 2021 school year should see the industry reassured by the positive effects of the recovery plan and ready to meet at its show. "

ÉQUIPBAIE 2021 will be the first opportunity for our entire profession to come together around our innovations. I would like to thank all our exhibiting members for being patient and for having placed their trust in us ”.
For Bruno Cadudal, President of UFME: “After months of the Covid-19 health crisis, I am happy to announce good news to the profession together with my partners from the Pôle Fenêtre and the Reed Expo teams. The confirmation of the new dates for the next edition of the ÉQUIPBAIE-MÉTALEXPO show shows that our industry, aware of living in a world "after" Coronavirus, remains optimistic and dynamic so that the resumption of our activities is sustainable. Many professionals represented within the UFME will be mobilized for the 1st carpentry fair. "
For Franck Perraud, President of the Union des Métalliers: “MÉTALEXPO is one of the major metalworking events. Maintaining strong ties with our partners and suppliers is essential in these uncertain times. I am delighted that the whole metalworking family can meet again in September 2021 "
