Extremely resistant material and capable of withstanding heavy loads, steel nevertheless remains very sensitive to temperature rises in the event of a fire, causing a considerable change in its mechanical properties.

Designed to slow down the heating rate of steel structures and ensure the sustainability of structures, the PROMASPRAY®-P300 sprayed paste coating from Promat improves its performance.

These improvements translate into:

• a reduction of up to 15% in protection thicknesses, depending on the profiles, for periods of 60 to 120 minutes. A major asset which, due to the reduction in thicknesses to be projected and labor time, contributes to achieving more economical sites,
• a 40% increase in the fields of application for massivities of performance R 30 to 120, allowing protection of the majority of standardized steels,
• a minimum multiplication by 2 of the ranges of massiveness for R 180,
• added protection performance up to 240 minutes.
