WESER's R&D team works on the continuous improvement of existing product ranges and their adaptation to customer demands and market trends.
The new challenge was to find a unique facing format to free itself from corner formats and thus simplify the management of installers' supplies and significantly optimize cutting time and losses. As a result of this research, the particularity of ALVERSTONE lies in a worked edge identical to the surface of the slab, of the same nature, color and relief, which allows a two-in-one profile: wall and corner.

In addition, the innovation lay in the research of its ingenious format. Indeed, the ALVERSTONE wall cladding is composed of 3 different formats with multiple stone designs each, reversible (neither top, nor bottom, nor right nor left) to multiply the combinations of layout and provide a more nuanced, aesthetic and extremely natural rendering. Each piece is interlocking to create perfect angles, and guide the installer, it is the concept of a quick "Z-lay" by interlocking unlike a classic linear installation (brick cladding type).

Finally, as ALVERSTONE wall cladding does not require joints, delivery to the site is even faster (around 40 min saved/m2).

In summary, thanks to its optimized interlocking installation, its ease of corner management and its jointless dry stone design, the installation time of ALVERSTONE is reduced by at least 50% compared to another facing in the range, for a complete installation of approximately 1 hour/m2.

The facing can be applied directly to all types of sound supports (brick, concrete, any masonry surface, wood, plasterboard, wood or metal panels and even thermal insulation panels, etc.), while respecting the recommendations for preparing the support in each configuration, offering an almost universal range of covering possibilities.

ALVERSTONE siding is made of natural aggregates and raw materials that make the product 100% recyclable and infinitely transformable. As part of the Extended Producer Responsibility for Construction and Building Products and Materials, WESER is helping to increase the recycling rate of end-of-life products and pays particular attention to the recyclability of its ranges.

In addition, the cold manufacturing process without the release of CO2 through combustion is environmentally friendly.

Finally, ALVERSTONE siding is rated A+, certifying its very low VOC emission rate inside the home.

ALVERSTONE, economical, resistant and durable

WESER wanted to offer an economical solution with a recommended retail price of €60 per m2 (excluding installation).

To avoid any maintenance and guarantee its durability (50 years), it is recommended to cover the wall cladding with WESER-PRO TRA protector (or a water repellent or mineralizer). This allows it to preserve its original appearance by limiting the development of micro-organisms and reducing the incrustation of dirt and making it easier to clean the surfaces.

Frost-proof and fire-resistant (Euroclass A1), ALVERSTONE cladding can also be installed behind a wood stove or around a fireplace (the distance between the stove and the wall must be 3 times the diameter of the connection pipe).
