Nearly 3.300 m² of concrete deck prefabricated by Capremib for the Seine-Nord Europe Canal road bridges

A technological challenge, it will benefit from cutting-edge equipment to enable its crossing. Among them, road structures intended to guarantee easy mobility within the territory, the tailor-made manufacture of prefabricated concrete bridge slabs was entrusted to CAPREMIB by the Nord Confluence group and more particularly Demathieu-Bard Infra Civil Engineering and ETPO, in charge of engineering works.

To allow departmental roads 66 and 40 to successively span the Oise river, the future Seine-Nord Europe Canal then the Oise lateral canal and vehicles, to connect the municipalities of Montmacq to Cambronne-lès-Ribécourt, 4 structures mixed metal and prefabricated concrete art projects are under construction.

For the 1^er “Oise” structure, ready to receive a waterproofing layer and road covering, CAPREMIB manufactured and supplied, in one week, 19 full prefabricated concrete slabs, each weighing 21 tonnes. They thus make up the monolithic deck 48,8 m long and 13,76 m wide which rests on 2 welded reconstituted steel beams (PRS). Made up of concrete formwork bottoms on the underside, the slabs are connected by transverse keying and by keying windows on the supports of the PRS beams using metal studs which help to hold the whole together.

The future 40 Bis bridges (36 slabs for a length of 80,80 m x 13,20 m wide) and RD66 CLO (36 slabs for a length of 48,80 m and 13,76 m wide) will be built according to the same principle.

Currently under construction, the “RD66 CSNE” viaduct, 107,90 m long and 13,76 m wide, benefits from a different design. Resting on 3 PRS beams, the 102 slabs which constitute it are placed facing each other, on either side of the central axis of the deck. With 51 slabs on each side, they are connected, in the center, by concrete formwork bases (10 cm thick pre-slabs) which allow the keying to be carried out. 10 types of slabs were made in different widths, with fins on the left or right and slightly larger openings at the abutments to ensure the structure is maintained.

For Olivier Windenlocher, Head of the Civil Engineering Activity of CAPREMIB: « In addition to the concrete boxes on the underside which offer a real time saving by avoiding the need for formwork on the underside of the deck ", CAPREMIB's expertise in reinforcement reinforcements also particularly counted on this project: " it is important that the positioning of the steels be very precise so that they fit perfectly into each other to ensure the junction of the bridge slabs. »

The manufacture of all the prefabricated decks for these structures required the use of 941 m³ of concrete and more than 237 tonnes of steel.
