In 2022, Anah is taking a further step with France Rénov', and will now be able to guide all French people who wish to undertake the renovation of their home by providing them with neutral and independent advice.
More than 750.000 homes renovated in 2021
Anah financed the renovation of 751.646 homes in 2021 thanks to the 3,11 billion in aid distributed. The improvement of private housing has reached exceptional levels, thanks to strong momentum across all of the Agency's intervention programs. This activity has made it possible to generate more than 8 billion euros in works and to create or preserve nearly 90.000 jobs.
Thanks to France Relance, MaPrimeRénov' has become universal aid, which has met with undeniable success with the French. In 2021, 764.732 files were filed, 644.073 bonuses were granted, i.e. 2,06 billion in aid distributed and 372.828 bonuses were paid at the end of the project. This is 4,5 times more bonuses granted in 2021 than in 2020.
63% of MaPrimeRénov' benefited households with modest and very modest incomes. Aid was mainly mobilized to change the heating system (68%), followed by insulation (26%) and ventilation (3%).
In addition, Anah continues its dynamic on the other programs:
- 57.117 homes have benefited from comprehensive energy renovation, whether through Habiter Mieux or MaPrimeRénov' Copropriété;
- 21.836 housing units have been renovated as part of the Condominium Initiative Plan, i.e. 71.495 since its launch. The program experienced an acceleration phase with resources doubled thanks to France Relance credits;
- 52.504 and 15.780 housing units were subsidized under the Action Cœur de Ville and Small Towns of Tomorrow programmes;
- 15.272 dwellings renovated in the treatment of unfit and very degraded habitat, and 14,9 million euros were devoted to the financing of 36 operations to reabsorb unsanitary habitat (RHI);
- Since 2017, nearly 48.000 housing units have been approved in order to usefully mobilize the private stock for social purposes under the Housing First program, including 8.371 in 2021.
With France Rénov', Anah's missions are expanding in 2022
France Rénov', the new public housing renovation service, piloted by Anah, has become the single point of entry for all work routes, from the simplest to the most complex, to inform and advise all French people. Designed for households and deployed thanks to local authorities, France Rénov' thus makes it possible to meet the need for clarification and harmonization of the user journey, within the framework of a local service. Since January, households have had a web platform at their disposal (France-renov.gouv.fr), a single national telephone number (0 808 800 700) and more than 450 France Rénov' Advice Centers present throughout the territory.
"Mon Accompagnateurs Rénov'" will be responsible for supporting the households that need it the most at all stages of their work project. Professional support has four components:
- Technical: identification of the work to be carried out, RGE craftsmen, advice for the work phase and the use of the accommodation;
- Financial: identification of available aid;
- Administrative: setting up the financing file, help with digital platforms and tools;
- Social: methods of financing the remainder to be paid for, identification of specific needs.
Finally, in order to better target thermal colanders and strengthen support for the most vulnerable households, MaPrimeRénov' Sérénité replaces Anah's Habiter Mieux program. In 10 years, this program will have enabled the overall renovation of more than 550 housing units. MaPrimeRénov' Serenity, with more advantageous financing and personalized support to enable households to undertake the most effective work and benefit from all available public financing, will make it possible to amplify the dynamic in favor of global renovation. .
A budget of 3,2 billion euros to renovate 800.000 homes
Anah's 2022 budget reaches 3,2 billion euros for the renovation of private housing. It thus accompanies the success of MaPrimeRénov', with a target of 685.000 renovated housing units, the success of the Joint Ownership Initiative Plan, with a target of 60.000 renovated condominium units, the adaptation of housing to loss of autonomy, with a target of 24.000 adapted housing units and the deployment of the Action Cœur de Ville and Small Towns of Tomorrow programs thanks to engineering funding for local authorities.
In total, the renovation of nearly 800.000 housing units should be financed by the Agency in 2022.
For Emmanuelle Wargon, Minister Delegate in charge of Housing: “Anah has shown that it is up to the challenge of renovating private housing in all its components and the challenges of the 21st century. The 2021 figures testify to this ability to implement the ambitious policies supported by the government. The energy renovation policy will continue to be structured in 2022 around France Rénov' to simplify the process for households and consolidate the most ambitious renovations in conjunction with local authorities. This is how we can reduce the energy bills of the French people, increase their comfort and limit our greenhouse gas emissions. »
For Thierry Repentin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anah: “The results of Anah in 2021 demonstrate the very strong dynamic of renovation in private housing, which year after year reflects the high expectations of our fellow citizens. To continue on this momentum and succeed in the ecological transition of housing, it is necessary to facilitate access for households who have a renovation project to neutral and independent advice, as well as personalized support. This is the objective of France Rénov' which, thanks to a harmonized and simplified process, will be able to better advise, better support and better finance their projects in order to find comfort in their homes and reduce their energy bills. Anah will be there. »
