The "15.000 Young Talents Builders" operation has made it possible to strengthen national and local partnerships with employment and integration players (Pôle emploi, the National Union of Local Missions, the network of second-chance schools in France, EPIDE as well as ANRU, Habitat et Humanisme, l'Outil en main, etc.).
To make this initiative a success, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of the City, in conjunction with the State services, the Regional Councils and the Departmental Councils have mobilized the actors of the public employment service as well as than community networks. They have thus identified young people and job seekers wishing to enter the construction sector, which is currently in high demand for labour.
The FFB, for its part, has stepped up its information campaigns on the construction trades, mobilized the systems of the profession, particularly in terms of training and integration.
For Emmanuelle Wargon, Minister in charge of Housing: “Construction is a sector of the future, which is recruiting to meet current challenges: renovating buildings, building new housing, transforming the city to make it more pleasant to live in, more practical and more beautiful. I congratulate the French building federation for its action towards young people in urban policy districts. »
For Olivier Salleron, president of the FFB: “We are proud to have contributed to facilitating, within the framework of this exemplary operation, the recruitment of more than 24.000 Young Talent Builders within member companies of the FFB. Having ambition for employment means acting on the attractiveness of the sector by communicating on the possibilities of hiring and careers. The Federation's commitment is a sign of the craftsmen's and entrepreneurs' desire to reach out to young people in the neighborhoods and offer them paths to employment”.
