MoDem deputies launch a mission on "access to decent housing"

The group chaired by Jean-Paul Mattei has chosen to exercise its annual "right to draw" on this theme of housing, a sector in crisis. He hopes to be able to draw proposals from it, particularly with a view to the 2024 draft budget in the fall, on access to property or even thermal renovations.

This fact-finding mission, made up of 26 members from all the political groups, will be able to hold hearings and travel for several months in view of a final report.

It is chaired, as it should be, by a member of the opposition, the Communist Stéphane Peu, elected from Seine-Saint-Denis, and its rapporteur is Mickaël Cosson (MoDem).

Before launching this work, the centrist deputies waited for the conclusions of the National Council for Refoundation (CNR) on housing, which left the actors hungry.

The Prime Minister announced the executive's plan at the beginning of June, which articulates the extension but strong restriction of the zero-rate loan (PTZ), the end of the Pinel rental investment scheme, rental aid and construction support.

For their part, the Horizons deputies, another allies of the presidential majority, used their "right to draw" for an information mission on "the capacities of anticipation and adaptation of our model of civil protection and security ". The rapporteur is Didier Lemaire.
