MMA launches CertiDevis for construction professionals and their customers

The operation of CertiDevis is simple: when a construction craftsman prepares a quote for a client, he sends this quote by email to certidevis@mma.fr. The estimate is instantly analyzed by MMA and the craftsman receives a validation of his estimate in a few minutes by return email.

This validation attests that the estimated work does indeed fall within the ten-year guarantee subscribed by the craftsman.

• Advantage for the craftsman: he knows that the work he offers to a client is insured in ten years.
• Advantage for the craftsman's client: he knows that by choosing this quote, he is insured.

Innovative, the CertiDevis service was rewarded with an Argus d'Or, a prize awarded by insurance professionals on June 8. MMA is the only insurer in France to offer this type of service.

CertiDevis: quick and easy

Offered free of charge with the Decennial MMA insurance contract, the CertiDevis service checks that the work proposed in the quotes is covered by the activities provided for in the contract. The quotes sent by email to certidevis@mma.fr are checked, then returned automatically to the craftsman. A “Decennial Assured Activities” stamp is affixed to the quotes, accompanied by a personalized “decennial” user manual.

CertiDevis, the assurance of being covered even before starting work

More than a simple quote verification tool, CertiDevis is on the lookout for ten-year insurance guarantees. He informs the professional in a few minutes, by return email, about his cover. If his contract is not suitable, his MMA agent offers to easily adjust his guarantees to ensure all the work. Once the quote has been verified by MMA, all he has to do is send it to his client who, reassured, can sign it with confidence. This step, although optional, is an additional asset to gain the confidence of the customers. This is not insignificant proof to protect both the craftsman and his client, and a certain lever for development in the face of competition. Moreover, a study⁽²⁾ has shown that a work estimate validated by Certidevis is three times more likely to be signed than a traditional estimate.
