Land, sea and the meeting of these two worlds: this is the universe suggested by the textile tiles of the new Coastline collection from Milliken. Designers Helen Lloyd and Kathryn Tyms have evolved the In Situ collection. The two new patterns "Seascape" and "Landscape" are available in 24 colors plus 12 transition colors that use new Millitron® printing tints. This range offers endless design possibilities recreating a natural atmosphere with delicate and harmonious patterns.
The Seascape design suggests the reflections of the surface of the oceans and the lapping of the waves. Its design evokes sea foam, grains of sand and reefs, and its color palette refers to natural seascapes. The Landscape pattern is inspired by the sand dunes and the vegetation that runs along the coast, creating a play of light and shadow on the ground, bringing contrast and dynamism to the spaces.
Transition tiles are available for three color families in each of the two patterns. They allow you to create smooth and organic transitions from left to right and vice versa.
The tiles incorporate an acoustic underlay developed by Milliken, which considerably reduces noise pollution, for spaces conducive to well-being and concentration. This technology also reduces muscle fatigue and extends the life of the carpet.
Coastline is available with TractionBack 2.0, a self-adhesive solution applied to the back of Milliken tiles allowing immediate installation, without the addition of glue and therefore without the release of VOCs, which improves indoor air quality. The Coastline collection is manufactured in the UK, in an ISO14001 certified site. It is certified A+, TUV, CRI Green Label Plus for indoor air quality, and is the subject of EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) and FDES (Environmental and Health Declaration) sheets. It is also carbon neutral, as are all Milliken flooring lines.
