The new Modern Movement collection is inspired by geometric shapes, asymmetrical compositions, simple and angular structures and a minimalist aesthetic. It is available in five monochrome or colored versions, imagined by two designers.

Kathryn Tyms first came up with the “Crossing Lines” design, which recalls the principles of mid-century modern art. Combining graphic lines and organic texture, this coating is characterized by a predominantly light overlay set surmounted by darker lines or vice versa (Dark or Light). The second design, “Simple Lines”, is signed by Helen Lloyd. The inspirations are similar, but the blades are distinguished by continuous textured and clean lines, neutral tones and soft surfaces. They create a continuity on the ground which helps to open up the space and broaden the perspectives. 'Simple Lines' also comes in two colored versions, 'Colour Pops' and 'Light Color Pops', which use Millitron printing technology.
The Modern Movement collection brings a new dynamic to spaces. Each configuration is unique. The slats incorporate an acoustic underlayer developed by Milliken, which considerably reduces noise pollution, promoting well-being and concentration. This technology also reduces muscle fatigue and extends the life of the carpet.
Modern Movement is available with TractionBack 2.0, a self-adhesive solution applied to the back of Milliken planks that allows for clean, fast and glue-free installation, improving indoor air quality and promoting future reuse. The Modern Movement collection is manufactured in the UK, in an ISO14001 certified site. It is TUV certified, CRI Green Label Plus for indoor air quality and is the subject of an Environmental Product Declaration and FDES. It is also carbon neutral like all Milliken collections.
