A birthday and new ambitions for the benefit of building and public works professionals
This year 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the MBTP. Baptized when it was created in 1969, "Mutuelle du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics du Sud-Est", it was born out of the will of business leaders in the sector who wanted to offer health coverage to all of their employees, in particular to the workers. Since then, it has pursued this goal by advising and closely supporting the players in the construction industry, particularly on its core business: complementary health.
Since January 1, 2017 and the signing of a partnership with the APICIL Group, MBTP breaks the monopoly in terms of provident contracts. Even if the end of the provident designation clauses has been effective since 2014, many construction companies are not informed of their freedom to join an insurer of their choice. However, the latter must offer, at a minimum, provident contracts in all respects in accordance with collective construction agreements.
With the mutual insurance company MBTP, companies, the self-employed, employees and retirees in the construction industry benefit from:

MBTP plans to double its activity by 2024
