The FFB calls for action
The FFB, carrying the voice of craftsmen and building contractors, has hammered home the demands for simplification that it constantly makes both on the lack of available renovation guides and on the virtual cessation of insulation work by gesture due to from conditioning to aid in changing heating equipment.
The FFB takes note of the government's desire to relax the conditions of access to aid to succeed in the challenge of ecological transition. She will officially present her proposals within two weeks, as requested by the government.
For Olivier Salleron, president of the FFB: “the intentions are there, with a tight schedule of concrete announcements expected within two weeks. The FFB, which has long been mobilized to succeed in the ecological and energy transition, has already put itself in working order to ensure that its ambitions are met. »
For CAPEB, Ministers Christophe Béchu and Guillaume Kasbarian choose to rely on building VSEs to accelerate energy renovation
At the end of the two hours of work the Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion as well as with the Minister responsible for Housing, this Thursday, February 15, 2024, CAPEB welcomes the importance that the Ministers give to craft construction companies to meet the challenge of energy renovation and its massification.
It notes with satisfaction the firm desire of Ministers to quickly reach arbitrations which are in line with the proposals it makes for the benefit of the massification of energy renovation work and, as a consequence, of the activity of craft companies in the building.
The two Ministers are now convinced of the merits of the absolute necessity of making relaxations in the current methods of undertaking energy renovation work.
First of all, they expressed their interest in the experiment carried out by the CAPEB of Construction Site Qualification which today allows companies not holding the RGE to be audited at the end of the construction site to offer their clients the possibility of benefiting state aid. They would consider pushing it further, in order to allow the 620.000 craft businesses that wish to get involved in these markets.
Then, they shared CAPEB's proposal aimed at ensuring that the use of Rénov' Supporters is not a blocking element for a large part of the work projects in 2024.
Finally, the Ministers join CAPEB in recognizing the interest of the single gesture in contributing to a positive evolution in the number of energy renovations, including overall renovation.
The State has given itself two weeks to finalize the regulatory texts which will make these principles operational for this year. The aim is to remove the obstacles to the activity of artisanal construction companies as quickly as possible and to reverse the downward trend in energy renovation that the latest figures from Anah have confirmed. An appointment is made at the beginning of March for the final arbitrations. CAPEB will ensure that they are in line with today's discussions.
