MaPrimeRénov 'enjoyed very strong momentum in the 1st quarter of 2021 with more than 185.000 applications submitted

Launched on January 1, 2020, MaPrimeRénov 'has become the main state aid for the energy renovation of housing. Initially reserved for the most modest households, it has been since January 2021, and thanks to France Relance, open to all owners, whatever their income, whether they are occupants or lessors, as well as to all co-owners.

At the end of the 1st quarter of 2021, more than 185.000 files filed and more than € 317M in premiums committed

Thanks to the openness to all owner-occupants, MaPrimeRénov 'is experiencing very strong momentum. More than 185.000 applications have already been filed in three months, almost as many as in 2020 (191.690).

After an average processing time of 17 working days, 116.899 files were accepted, for a total amount of 317,4 million euros in premiums.

MaPrimeRénov 'is then paid at the end of the work, 79.019 payment requests were thus received and nearly 58.000 were paid.

55% of the work concerns the heating system

MaPrimeRénov 'helps finance insulation work (walls, floors, attics, windows), heating, ventilation or energy audits. Among the most popular work is changing the heating system (55%), followed by insulation work (34%). A project management assistance package (AMO) is also requested (8%), which makes it possible to support and advise households for carrying out these more ambitious renovations.

59% of the files submitted concern households with low and very low incomes

Initially reserved for the most fragile households, MaPrimeRénov 'is now accessible to all owner-occupants, regardless of their income. However, modest and very modest households remain the main beneficiaries, with 59% of cases filed since the start of the year. MaPrimeRénov 'is also very popular with middle-income households (36%).
