One year after the CAPEB's Last Chance Appeal and the major simplification of MaPrimeRénov obtained on May 15, CAPEB has this time obtained, after long months of fighting, the extension of these measures for an additional year aimed at revitalizing MaPrimeRénov aid and encouraging the energy renovation of housing.
- Renewal for one year of the MaPrimeRénov single-action scheme without the obligation to change heating or hot water production equipment first;
- Renewal for one year of MaPrimeRénov single-action including for housing in categories F and G;
- Renewal for one year of the exemption from providing a DPE to benefit from the MaPrimeRénov single-action system.
CAPEB welcomes the special mobilization demonstrated by the Minister of Housing to implement her commitments, which were eagerly awaited by building tradespeople to relaunch energy renovation work.
As the CAPEB feared and has constantly said, the results of MaPrimeRénov in 2024 do not live up to the ambitions. The beneficial stability of the rules of MaPrimeRénov in 2025, for individuals and professionals, must now be accompanied by work over the coming months for a real simplification of the work paths in favor of the massification of large-scale renovations of housing. The CAPEB will remain mobilized in this direction.
This very important measure does not, however, remove all the major uncertainties which now weigh on the 620.000 craft businesses in the building industry due to the current political crisis.
This is why CAPEB is calling for the very rapid appointment of a new government and the resumption of parliamentary work as soon as possible for the adoption of a budget for 2025. VSEs in the construction sector and the entire sector need visibility and support more than ever, even as the market continues to decline.
CAPEB has always demonstrated budgetary responsibility in all its demands. It is putting forward proposals allowing easier access to the market for craft businesses and a resumption of activity, a source of real savings and increased revenue for public finances.
It will therefore remain extremely vigilant, in particular to protect support for apprenticeships for very small construction companies and to support an ambitious energy transition that is accessible to individuals.
For Jean-Christophe REPON, president of CAPEB: "The extension in 2025 of the measures to simplify single-action procedures in MaPrimeRénov is an important ray of hope for VSEs in the construction sector in the current political and budgetary darkness. It is the result of a strong mobilization by CAPEB over the past year for the simplification of this system. In this respect, I would like to salute the commitment of Minister Valérie Létard and her teams in this matter, who have worked towards this valuable step forward for craft businesses."
