UFME unveils the new FERVAM interactive map for the recycling of joinery

Available to everyone on the UFME website, this new version is a guarantee of interactivity, modernity, and dynamism. It allows users to obtain the desired information on voluntary drop-off points (waste collection centers, distributors, etc.) and on service providers who carry out removals on construction sites and within companies in just a few clicks: complete contact details, scope of action, and possible listing by one or more eco-organizations. Thus, a waste holder can identify, in their search area, solutions for closed-loop recycling while benefiting from operational support offered within the framework of the REP PMCB.

This map answers the main questions that a carpentry professional asks. "How can I find a partner operating in Normandy for closed-loop recycling and referenced by Valobat? I have several construction sites in France, I want a service provider who works in the Lille region, in Île-de-France and in the East, is this possible? Who can pick up the end-of-life carpentry that my teams store in our premises?" The professional can carry out his search using three filters: City/Department; Eco-organization and Service provider name. He can combine them and choose from the three types of collection points (voluntary drop-off point, on-site or in-company collection) according to his needs to refine the identification of his FERVAM targets. Practical, he can also carry out an Excel export of his entire selection to facilitate immediate contact or at a later stage for optimal organization!

Confirming its role as facilitator and educator, the UFME is also publishing a technical sheet No. 53 "End-of-life joinery - Recycling in a closed loop and benefiting from support: the solutions". This comparative summary sheet, freely accessible, provides an overview of the operational solutions proposed by the various eco-organizations approved for the REP PMCB for the glazed joinery flow. It also explains how FERVAM fits into each eco-organization solution so that waste holders can recycle their joinery with support (as part of the REP PMCB) and in a closed loop (FERVAM). This is an essential approach to guarantee an ever-increasing integration of recycled materials in the composition of future joinery manufactured in France.
