Loxam is organizing the 6th edition of the Safety and Environment Meetings, on June 29 at Hangar Y in Meudon (92)

The Loxam Safety and Environment Meetings will also make it possible to discover the latest equipment innovations and solutions that contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and improving safety on construction sites.

This unmissable event for professionals in construction, industry, services and communities

Building on the growing success of the first five editions, the Loxam Safety and Environment Meetings are now a real annual event for professionals, with the aim of driving the market towards greater safety and more sustainability.

This year, the event will be held on Thursday June 29, from 9 a.m. to 16 p.m., in Meudon at Hangar Y, a listed historic monument and recently rehabilitated after forty years of closure and more than two years of renovation work. This emblematic place will accommodate nearly 30 exhibitors, equipment manufacturers and start-ups, in an exhibition area of ​​nearly 1 m² as well as an outdoor demonstration area of ​​800 m². More than 800 professionals from construction, industry, services and communities as well as professional organizations are expected to discuss and discover the latest equipment innovations and solutions in favor of safety and the environment.

A rich program of encounters and demonstrations

The event is organized around several highlights to allow professionals from all over France to come together and explore possible solutions for responsible, safer and more sustainable construction sites. In the program :

• An Environment plenary “Climate law: constraints that have become opportunities for the next 10 years”, in order to understand the initiatives, the possible obstacles but also the avenues for improvement to reduce the carbon footprint on the worksites.

In the presence of Jean-Marc ZULESI, Member of Parliament for the 8th constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône and President of the Commission for Sustainable Development and Regional Planning.

With the interventions of COLAS, ECOSUN, HAULOTTE, SADE and GRENOBLE ALPES METROPOLE.

• A Safety plenary session “Drawing inspiration from the best for a zero accident culture”, in order to discover the most effective health and safety policies in all sectors and explore ways of thinking about reducing risks on construction sites, implementing them and raising awareness among workers and their environment.

• Over 50 exhibits and demonstrations, including electric construction equipment (excavators and mini-excavators, dumpers, forklifts, aerial platforms, trucks, mowers, etc.), hydrogen or hybrid, battery-powered portable equipment, a base camp and a solar trailer, or even exoskeletons
• A lunch cocktail and a networking space, to enable all professionals to discuss and feed collective thinking around safety and environmental issues
