It develops new products under certifications and constantly improves its proven solutions in order to anticipate regulations, adapt to standards, new construction processes, environmental issues, etc. The ease of implementation and the durability of its high-performance systems are also at the heart of every design.
The new products presented at EQUIPBAIE illustrate this philosophy, which drives the LOUINEAU teams, from the R&D department to the design office, including production, sales, marketing, etc.:
- The exclusive PRECWOOD 1400 monobloc bay frame, the only certified solution dedicated to the waterproofing (1 Pa) of wooden constructions,
- The built-in window frame in a PRECHABKIT kit, a quick-to-install covering system suitable for wooden frame houses,
- Legs with Fallen Edges (BT) to reinforce the continuous angles (CFIL BT) and pre-frames (PRECFIX BT),
- The 200 mm high Monobloc Sleeve (MCHM200) integrated into the standard offer, fixing for curtain walls which optimizes the installation and simplifies the daily life of facadiers.
Solution for waterproofing in timber constructions: exclusive monobloc window frame PRECWOOD 1400
The PRECWOOD 1400 is a window frame which ensures the continuity of the sealing plane between the rain screen and the joinery thanks to its one-piece design and its continuous welds in the corners. Unprecedented in the timber frame construction market, it is CTB Wood Components and Systems certified by FCBA (Assemblies & Connections category - Identification number 211). This industrial technical center carried out driving rain tests on an AEV test bench, which validated a resistance of 1 Pa. A performance required for wood constructions (COB) including High Buildings (IGH) up to 'at 400 m.
An air space around the wooden structure guarantees optimal ventilation, thus limiting the risk of condensation. Prefabricated and delivered ready to install, the PRECWOOD 1400 facilitates installation. About 30 minutes will be enough, for two people, between unpacking the pre-frame and the installation on the wall without return of the rain screen which is no longer necessary.
In galvanized steel, the PRECWOOD 1400 offers design freedom both in terms of dimensions and powder coating. It allows the integration of roller shutters, sun shades, guardrails or PMR thresholds in the frame of a patio door or a sliding door. It is available in two finishes, with or without covering, and can be fitted with an anti-vibration system. It is suitable for all facades (plaster, zinc, wood, brick, etc.).
Solution for waterproofing timber-frame houses: new window frame attached as a PRECHABKIT kit
Timber frame houses (MOB) have been on the rise in recent years! LOUINEAU has designed and standardized a new window frame attached as a kit (PRECHABKIT) which allows an air gap to be preserved between the frame and the rain screen. This covering solution complies with the recommendations of DTU 31.2 and 31.4. Delivered in a kit, it optimizes the installation time and simplifies the realization of the window frame:
- assembly is facilitated by the identification of each element,
- the exterior wall installation is quick and does not require any cutting.
The built-in bay frame in kit (PRECHABKIT) is made of prepainted galvanized steel (10 / 10th). It can be powder coated on demand for specific colors and incorporate an anti-vibration device to limit the impact noise of the rain on the mud flap. Its fixings are concealed to obtain a refined picture for visual harmony.
Solutions for reinforcing continuous angles and pre-framing: new Falling Edge Legs (BT)
Depending on the weight of the joinery, the professional who carries out the installation of a continuous angle iron or a pre-frame will need reinforcements in order to guarantee the resumption of the forces. In addition to the Patte à Gousset (PG), the LOUINEAU R&D department has imagined a second type of reinforcement presented in preview at EQUIPBAIE: the new Pattes à Bords Tombés (BT).
Integrated into LOUINEAU solutions, these LV brackets can be used as standard:
An LV reinforcing strip angle (CFIL BT)
It ensures linearity and load recovery. Its "C" shaped design makes it easy to use. The craftsman is not bothered by the insulation and can then easily install the membrane. It adapts to all lengths and all types of insulation.
A BT reinforcement fixing pre-frame (PRECFIX BT)
Designed with four cutting angles mechanically welded together, this one-piece PRECFIX BT pre-frame facilitates the installation of joinery. The reinforcements, on three or four sides, are placed in the lower part or on the entire support depending on the weight of the joinery.
The [+] LOUINEAU:
Adding reinforcements is not systematic! LOUINEAU supports companies through its online encryption software Mes Devis. Once the parameters of the part and the weight of the joinery have been entered, the tool indicates whether or not the solution will support the load. In the second case, it will therefore be necessary to add reinforcements.
Solution for curtain walls: MCHM200, Monobloc sleeve in 200 mm height
The 200 mm high Monobloc Sleeve (MCHM200), integrated into the LOUINEAU standard offer, is designed to simplify the installation of curtain walls. It has two major advantages for facade builders and installation companies:
- the oblong hole is offset above the cross member, in order to facilitate the passage of the screw,
- an additional fixing point guarantees weight recovery, in addition to wind and seismic recovery. The professional will now have the choice of weight recovery on the part or on the structural work depending on the assembly cases.
The MCHM200, in omega (double) shape, is fixed in the upper and / or lower part of the thorns as part of a table installation. Integrated into the aluminum profile, it is completely invisible. It adapts to the standard of each curtain wall on the market.
The [+] regulation
LOUINEAU is the only manufacturer to have a test protocol to justify anchor parts for lightweight facades validated by CSTB in the form of an ETPM, n ° 18/0057. This reference validates the admissible resistances to the actions of weight, wind and seismic effects as well as the associated justification method. Valid until November 30, 2023, the ETPM complements the Eurocodes and DTU 33.1 relating to the installation of facade elements.
