This competition, open to all players in the construction industry, aims to promote their commitment to prevention and to reward the best initiatives by professionals in the sector. Companies wishing to participate can register online from now until September 16th.
5 categories to reward the implementation of concrete actions
For this second edition, five new categories are proposed:
- Young / new recruit / temporary worker initiative that rewards companies that have carried out actions targeted at apprentices and/or new recruits.
- Communication campaign that promotes awareness-raising and internal or external mobilization actions, aimed at preventing a well-identified risk or featuring a generic prevention message.
- Innovation that rewards construction companies that have developed or experimented with technical and/or digital innovations on construction sites that help improve health and working conditions.
- Prevention management, which distinguishes companies that have implemented a certain number of concrete actions to prevent a specific risk, or as part of a global approach aimed at advancing prevention in their company. This has three sub-categories, depending on the company's workforce:
- 0 to 19 employees;
- 20 to 49 employees;
- More than 50 employees.
- Construction stakeholders approach that highlights prevention initiatives bringing together several stakeholders, as part of a construction operation.
Applications are open
Whether they belong to a small or a large company, whether they are prevention specialists, craftsmen, site managers, employees, students, prime contractors and/or project managers, or even temporary workers, all construction industry players can apply. from June 20 to September 15, 2022.
To participate, each candidate must choose the category in which he wishes to compete and answer a series of questions via the online form of the ephemeral site of the Victoires de PréventionBTP: https://victoires.preventionbtp.fr/.
At the end of September, a steering committee made up of experts from the OPPBTP will meet to assess the admissibility of the applications and select the finalist applications by category. At the beginning of October, a jury made up of personalities from the construction industry and chaired by Paul Duphil, Secretary General of the OPPBTP, will examine the finalist applications. It will be up to the jury to designate the winners by category.
They will be presented with their trophy during an award ceremony to be held on November 29 at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris. The key for the winners: the promotion of their achievements in the magazine PréventionBTP, the production of a promotional video to use in their communication as well as the possibility of using the “Victoires de PréventionBTP” logo.
