ARVHA, the Association for Research on the City and Housing, is launching the thirteenth edition of the Women Architects Award in 2025 with the support of the City of Paris. For the 2025 Award, ARVHA is also receiving support from BNP Paribas Real Estate, CIMbéton, Heidelberg Materials, and several professional media outlets.
The aim of this prize is to highlight the works and careers of female architects, so that young female architects can draw inspiration from existing female models, and to encourage parity in a profession with a strong male dominance.
The only conditions for participation in this prize are to be registered with the Order of Architects and to be the author of the projects presented.
Four prizes are awarded:
- Young Woman Architect Prize, under 40 years old – 3 to 5 projects completed or not;
- Prize for the original work created by a female architect;
- Female Architect Prize – 3 to 5 works built;
- International Prize – 3 to 5 works built by a woman architect registered with the Order of non-French architects.
The competition is open from April 25, 2025 to July 31, 2025.
Award ceremony on December 8, 2025 at BNP PARIBAS REAL ESTATE at 50 Cours de l'Ile Seguin, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt.
