The construction site of the new building which will host the CAPEB Rhône, the most important employers' union organization in the department, is progressing. The structural work entrusted to BLB Construction in September 2018 under the aegis of the promoter PRD Office is now complete; the building is now out of water.
The project designed by the AFAA architecture agency in Lyon, will be delivered on time, in the summer of 2019. All trades, interior and exterior, are now involved in co-activity and several phases are starting: Without having waited for the dismantling of the crane at the end of April, the interior and exterior trades have already started their activities.
The installation of aluminum exterior joinery (approximately 240 windows are planned on the 6 floors) should be finished at the end of May.
Follow each other for more than a month:
- installation of the heating network,
- installation of electrical networks.
Then arrive in May:
- the installation of facades with the ITE,
- batches of interior finishes at the advancement of the air vent,
- technical floor tiles.
During June, in addition to the installation of the spectacular black granite façade cladding, the following will be carried out:
- fitting out partitions,
- installation of the lift with its self-supporting motors,
- the latest sanitary facilities.
Finishes, networks, fibers, servers, screens, sound system, etc. will be installed during July. The move of the CAPEB RHONE and GRAND LYON, AFABAT, CAPEB AUVERGNE RHONE ALPES, U2P RHONE ET METROPOLE and U2P Régionale teams is scheduled for the end of July.
