The AMF and the FNCCR publish the guide "Local elected representatives and non-collective sanitation"

Non-collective sanitation is a particularly attractive alternative to the costly construction of public wastewater collection networks and collective treatment plants, especially when the density of housing is low. It should logically take an important place in the community's wastewater treatment strategy.

Furthermore, the ANC is an integral part of the sanitation competence, and will therefore be transferred to the EPCIs from January 1, 2020^[1].

Also, the municipalities or EPCIs (or unions) in charge of SPANC must determine the methods of organizing their service, allowing them to best meet their obligations, to achieve their objectives consistent with their urbanization policy and planning, and by meeting user expectations both in terms of quality of service and cost control.

This guide contains practical and educational elements which will help the chairmen of EPCI or unions and their services to anticipate the transfer of competence to meet the latest regulatory requirements, organize their service, while gaining efficiency to increase user satisfaction.
