Klépierre, owner of more than 70 shopping centers in Europe, raised its annual objectives on Tuesday August 1 after a flourishing first half.
Net rental income is up 7,3% on a like-for-like basis compared to the first half of 2022.
"These results are up sharply and illustrate quite well the strong dynamic of shopping centers across Europe," commented CFO Stéphane Tortajada during a conference call.
The property company raises its annual net current cash flow target by 7%, the indicator it uses to establish its annual targets and which now stands at "at least 2,40 euros per share".
All the indicators are green, starting with the turnover of traders (+8%) driven in particular by catering, health and beauty, and net rental income (+7,3% to 484,1 million euros) compared to the first half of 2022.
Attendance is up 10% in the first half.
The group also reports an occupancy rate of 95,7% and a rent collection rate of 96,5%. Net debt stood at 7,4 billion euros, down 76 million euros compared to December 2022.
Klépierre is also pleased with a rental activity up 16% compared to the first half of 2022 with more than 809 leases signed.
