Kiloutou tests Ellectramobilys, a 100% electric dump truck

On the occasion of the 2022 Paris Motor Show, Ellectramobilys presents its Muses solution in its dump truck version, currently being tested by Kiloutou.

Within Kiloutou's current rental equipment fleet, dump trucks are the vehicles that emit the most CO2. Kiloutou is thus exploring solutions that could reduce their impact. Muses from Ellectramobilys is an electric motorized utility vehicle that could respond to this problem, particularly encountered by construction majors, craftsmen, communities or even private individuals moving and loading equipment and light materials in urban areas.

Muses, an agile and high-performance electric vehicle that opens up a promising field of co-development with Kiloutou

The Muses vehicle has a range ranging from 138 to 260 km depending on the battery power used and a payload of 670 kg. Its compact size and low noise level (75 dB) make it a high-performance and agile vehicle.

The model tested by Kiloutou has, at this stage, many advantages including:

• a triverse tipper (a complete service, authorizing unloading from the rear, from the right or from the left),
• a very low loading sill as well as a central driving position which also makes it an ally of prevention and safety for its users.

Its very great modularity also opens up a field of co-development in terms of bodywork or charging solutions, improvements that are as interesting as they are essential for Kiloutou, whose objective is to accelerate the development of a solution particularly suited to the needs of his clients.

Ellectramobilys, a supplier that goes beyond the responsible supplier charter defined by Kiloutou

Kiloutou has chosen to approach Ellectramobilys for the quality of its solution, particularly from an environmental point of view: its innovative design with 40% less material required for its manufacture, including half as much material (lithium, cobalt and manganese) in its battery, significantly reduces its impact on natural resources compared to a competing electric vehicle. The same goes for its energy consumption in use, which is halved compared to other electric utility vehicles. The Muses vehicle is a lever for reducing the environmental impact of worksites and urban interventions.

Finally, Muses is currently assembled in France and will be fully produced from 2023 in France.
