Kebony will be present at the 2021 Salon des Rendez-vous de la Matière in Paris, on October 12 and 13, 2021

The 7th edition of the Salon des Rendez-vous de la Matière will be held in Paris, on October 12 and 13, 2021. The first and most important exclusively professional fair dedicated to innovative materials for architecture, design, decoration and furnishing interior will notably welcome the Kebony brand, which develops modified woods with performances recognized by many architects and builders.

Kebony wood technology improves the properties of softwoods by giving them the characteristics of exotic hardwoods. Thanks to an environmentally friendly process, the woods are impregnated with a biological liquid from agricultural crop waste, which increases their durability and dimensional stability, while preserving their aesthetics. Kebony woods develop a natural silver patina when exposed to sun and rain. They have excellent strength, maximum hardness and high resistance, while being environmentally friendly and requiring no maintenance apart from normal cleaning.

Located in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the show will allow the 2 expected visitors to discover the creative and technical potential of materials known as unexpected. In a new space of 500 m350 on 2 levels, many professionals as well as a rich panel of innovative materials will be distributed over an immersive scenography, tailor-made by the design studio Frédéric Imbert.
