KE at the service of the school with the creation of a canteen with natural light in Nice

KE put its know-how at the service of the Stanislas Institution, a primary and secondary school in Nice, within the framework of the creation of a school canteen. KE proceeded with the installation of several pergola modules — ISOLA 3 and KEDRY PRIME — to cover an area of 140 m² intended to accommodate students and teaching staff.

A new open-air canteen

In Nice, the Stanislas Institution, a primary and secondary school, welcomes many pupils between the ages of eight and eighteen. Its buildings are located in the heart of a historic villa and its outdoor space deserved to be better exploited. KE, a specialist in made-to-measure awnings and pergolas, was chosen to bring its expertise to this “full daylight” refectory project that can be used all year round.

ISOLA 3 AND KEDRY PRIME, the choice of complementarity and quality of reception

The KE design office in charge of this project chose two pergolas: ISOLA 3 (canvas pergola by wrapping) and KEDRY PRIME (bioclimatic pergola with adjustable slats) which complement each other perfectly (same basic structure).

Their respective properties are essential because they combine comfort and well-being and provide students and teachers with a very large shaded area with maximum sun protection, natural temperature regulation during the hot season and shelter in winter or facing the sun. in the rain.

Lightness of lines and profiles

The profiles of the ISOLA 3 and the KEDRY PRIME, here in Carbon colour, fit perfectly with the architecture of the school building and enhance the centuries-old park that surrounds the establishment.

The LINE GLASS panoramic glazing system protects against rain and wind. Also installed indoors, it separates the students from the teachers' area. And to meet accessibility and safety requirements, three doors with anti-panic handles are also fitted to the pergolas.
