Portrait of Karinne Bidaud, first woman franchisee of FHV
With a commercial background, Karinne worked for many years in commerce, in mass distribution and then in the animal industry. She has always been attracted to the building trades, a sector that has only 12,4% of women according to 2019 figures from the French Building Federation.
Elected to the CCI and member of an association of business leaders, Karinne decides to get started. For her, the choice of ventilation, a little-known profession, was obvious: “During my career, I have been led to reflect on the CSR approach of companies, on their ecological impact, on well-being at work and on issues related to energy savings”.
Seduced by the professionalism of the brand and the values of its founder, Karine trained at the headquarters of FHV and opened the Niort agency in 2020.
A dynamic local agency
Tenacious, organized and enthusiastic, Karinne has worked hard to start her activity in the midst of a health crisis. It has surrounded itself with operators who can intervene alone or in pairs in Deux-Sèvres and Vienne.
The agency already has many clients: restaurateurs, manufacturers, communities, condominium managers, small and large companies from all sectors of activity. As well as individuals, who are increasingly using FHV to purify their indoor air. The FHV agency in Niort is located at 451 avenue de Paris.
Indoor air quality monitoring: focus on new FHV services
In 2013, the Ministries of the Environment and of Health launched the Indoor Air Quality Action Plan. FHV supports the ERP in the application of this plan which aims to improve the air quality in confined spaces with its new indoor air quality monitoring services.
France Hygiène Ventilation agencies have therefore set up a support service in three stages:
- Assessment of ventilation means. The FHV technician checks the natural and mechanical ventilation installations, taking into account the date of construction of the building, the renovation work carried out and the characteristics of the openings.
- Submission of a detailed report. After the visit, the worker gives a detailed report to the head of the establishment, explaining the various data collected and his observations. He then presents a series of actions to be implemented to bring the establishment into compliance with the Grenelle II law. These actions can be, for example, the application of daily actions, the replacement of cleaning products or the complete cleaning of the CMV systems.
- Training in the practical guide and self-diagnosis sheets. FHV provides its customers with a guide and fact sheets that facilitate the application of the Action Plan on indoor air quality. To guide its customers, FHV offers tailor-made support for the use of these essential documents.
FHV teams can also perform personalized monitoring using connected sensors, developed by FHV, which measure the level of pollution in the air inside the establishment. Once the month of audit has elapsed, they submit a detailed report and offer advice and solutions to improve air quality.
Indoor air purification, a health priority
FHV teams also provide an indoor air purification service that actively participates in the elimination of volatile organic compounds, bacteria, germs, mold, odors and particles.
FHV offers new generation high performance air purifiers that naturally purify the ambient air and prevent the spread of microorganisms. The agencies offer a turnkey service that includes the commissioning of the device and its maintenance throughout the year.
