With more than 20 years of experience in the hardware and construction sectors, Jérôme Dupont cut his teeth in a company on a human scale in which he cultivates his taste for proximity with customers and employees. In contact with industrial manufacturers, he developed the desire to become a supplier and joined the ASSA ABLOY group in 2009. In 2017, he became Sales Director France West of the ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions Business Unit, before being appointed on March 1. 2021 Business Director of JPM.
A new business manager to embody JPM's strategic turning point
The arrival of a new Activity Director seals the reorganization operated by JPM, which adopts a new commercial approach by focusing solely on professional distribution.
“My desire is to meet the challenges linked to the development of JPM by consolidating and strengthening commercial partnerships, in order to promote the know-how of this historic brand”, continues Jérôme Dupont.
This reorganization reflects the brand's desire to be closer to its distributors to better support them.
“JPM's offer is aimed at a variety of customers whose needs differ greatly. Our new strategy consists of addressing each of them and being attractive by positioning ourselves as close as possible to their needs ”, says Jérôme Dupont, Business Director of JPM.
To do this, training and product information will be made available to employees and partners, to guarantee customer follow-up support and a more regular and sustained presence in points of sale.
To facilitate the establishment of this proximity, seamless and facilitating automated tools have been developed, such as the interactive catalog to ensure that all the product information required by customers is available, or the Cylweb and Cléweb tools, which allow customers to independently follow orders for JPM cylinders and keys.
At the same time, JPM's new strategy is to focus on strong product innovation. The existing offer will be increased and new products will enrich the range of solutions offered by JPM, to meet the expectations of distribution and the market.
In addition, the prescription of JPM products will experience strong growth thanks to the support of the ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions and ASSA ABLOY Access Control teams. They will support the JPM offer in their recommendations and prescriptions, and will thus integrate it on a daily basis in their monitoring of
projects.
