Jean-Charles Colas-Roy, re-elected as president of Coénove

The year 2026 opens with several structuring deadlines, first and foremost the consultation on the SNBC 3, the persistent wait for the PPE 3, as well as the upcoming municipal, senatorial elections and the presidential campaign, which should be an opportunity to reaffirm France's ambition in terms of decarbonization.

In this context, Coénove intends to continue to voice a clear and constructive opinion in favor of an energy transition based on energy efficiency, effective reductions in consumption, high-performance equipment, and the complementarity of energy sources, leveraging the rapidly developing field of green gases. The association advocates a pragmatic and economically sustainable approach, capable of reconciling climate objectives, security of supply, household purchasing power, and the resilience of the energy system.

Under the leadership of Jean-Charles Colas-Roy, Coénove has established itself as a recognized player in the public debate, a force for proposing solutions to public authorities, particularly on the issues of energy mix, renovation of the building stock and recognition of the role of increasingly renewable gases in the country's decarbonization trajectories.

An engineer, a graduate of the Grenoble Polytechnic Institute, and co-founder of the company H3C-Énergies, Jean-Charles Colas-Roy was a member of parliament for Isère from 2017 to 2022. A specialist in energy and climate policy issues, and a former member of the Board of Directors of ADEME and of the Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning Committee of the National Assembly, he now puts his technical, economic and regulatory expertise at the service of the members of Coénove to ensure an efficient, realistic and sustainable energy transition in the building sector.
